Bledsoe to give football one more chance September 8th, 2010 _____________________ ESPN reported today that Drew Bledsoe, the former New England Patriot quarterback will be returning to football for one more year. "Drew saw that the Portland Bulldogs could use a good quarterback to help them out, he is very excited to meet coach Dixon and learn the Bulldog offense" said Max Carrel, who is Bledsoe's agent.
Bledsoe last played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2006 before announcing that he was hanging up his helmet. Coach Tyler Dixon had this to say of Bledsoe "I've watched Drew play ever since I was ten, we are very excited to bring Drew into our organization for this season, hopefully he can bring a great amount of success onto this team."
The Portland Bulldogs open up their season on Sunday, September 12th where they will face the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Author's Note:
You guys can post if you want to, I just thought that since other dynasties tell people when they can post I thought I should. I want you guys involved with this dynasty as well, comment on moves I make, maybe make suggestions for us to improve. Also I made Bledsoe only a 75 OVR so its not like I just picked up Peyton Manning for my team.
This dynasty will end when I either:
Make it to the Super Bowl twice in a row and win both of them
Have 4 consecutive 11 or better win seasons
I've always been a fan of Bledsoe, for the short time I got to watch him play. You definitely made this dynasty a lot more interesting by adding Bledsoe. Good luck against the Patriots!

The New England Patriots beat the Portland Bulldogs today, 26 to 9. New England's coach Josh Moore ( Cough Cough Bill Belicheck) said this of their win, " Today's game was an all around team effort by us. We played hard nose defense and conservative offense, the Bulldogs did put up a very good fight but it was our experience that got the better of them." Tom Brady suffered a bruised shoulder and sat out the entire game, but he is expected to start next week.
On the other hand coach Tyler Dixon had this to say of his teams loss, " We were overwhelmed, the O-line couldn't protect our quarterback at all and our running game couldn't get going. Drew Bledsoe suffered an abdominal tear but will start next week. Our team needs to come out next week against the Ravens and lock down their offense, and pound the ball while winning the turnover battle. We have a lot of work to do before our next game."
The Portland Bulldogs (0-1) are at home against the Baltimore Ravens (0-1) next week. Tim Graham
