When you get to players leaving, just go to NCAA and sort the list out by either class, reason, or overall (I did overall, everyone on that list is 87+).

Thanks to everyone who has been reading, I will hopefully be in a new season by tomorrow.

Re: Cincinnati Bearcats (NCAA 11)

Great job of getting to the National Championship. Great game against Pitt too. Must have been a great feeling getting that Pick 6 to clinch the game. Can't wait to read the N.C. game recap. Good luck.

Now that I read the N.C. Recap, I have to say, Way to Go. Congrats on getting that NC not only for the Bearcats, but for the Big East and getting some respect for the Conference.

Re: Cincinnati Bearcats (NCAA 11)

Offseason Recruiting Primer
Bearcats look to seal up best recruiting class ever

CINCINNATI -- The time to enjoy the national championship is over now for the Cincinnati Bearcats, it is time to get back to work for next season. With the recruiting dead period over, teams now have a month left to finish off their recruiting classes this year. With a title in the trophy case now, Cincinnati now have kids that wouldn't consider them before, and they look to use that to their advantage.

First, let's have a look at the recruits that are fimly on board with the Bearcats (who currently have the #65 recruiting class):

4* WR Nate Rush; Darby, PA
4* QB Willie Woodard; Cleveland, OH
4* DT Lionel Francis; Finneytown, OH
4* ATH Michael Cole; Hallandale, FL
3* OLB Patrick Baldwin; Millsboro, DE
3* OLB Justin Newsome; Lombard, IL]
3* MLB Leonard Mangum; Pinch, WV
3* DE Justin Anderson; Riverdale, GA
3* K Mike Harris; Washington, PA

Now here are the recruits that are still listing Cincinnati as one of their choices:

4* WR Kevin Zeigler; Brownsville, TN
3* G Alex Dean; Ashdown, AR
3* G John Williams; Logan, WV
3* CB Jordan Banks; Largo, FL

Finally, here are the recruits that burst onto the scene and Cincinnati have started to get in contact with:

4* WR Victor Roth; Conway, FL
4* CB Justin Jones; New Philadelphia, OH
4* DT Marcus Barber; Coldwater, MI
4* TE Billy Brown; Lake Worth, FL
2* SS Joe Barrow; Greenwood, SC

Cincy needs to close out strong if they want to keep their place with the big boys of college football, or else last season would be a once in a blue moon occurence.

Re: Cincinnati Bearcats (NCAA 11)

Inching Closer and Closer...
Bearcats gain 3* G Williams; lose out on Zeigler and Dean

CINCINNATI -- The first week of recruiting had it's ups and downs for the Bearcats, but overall it was a good week.

First, UC gained the committment of 3* John Williams. The 6'3" 288-pound guard from Logan, WV picked Cincinnati over Alabama and Penn State. "Them winning the title this year really opened them up to me. Seeing them do what people said they couldn't do is what sealed it for me. When the coaches came to my house this week, that was the final straw."

Williams is going to be a developmental player, but with 3 senior guards, he should get that redshirt he needs. His pass blocking is his strength, but his run blocking needs help, and a year to work on that should do well.

The coaches also visited 3* Jordan Banks this week, and when I talked to him, you could tell he was high on Cincinnati.

"The coaches just answered any questions I needed answered. Of course with them winning a national title, they will be on national TV more, so my family will be able to watch me play from Florida. That was my biggest concern." Banks said in our phone call. He is now leaning towards Cincinnati, and a decision between the Bearcats, Penn State, and Michigan is comming soon.

Cincy did take their losses as well, as Kevin Zeigler and Alex Dean chose their schools this week. Zeigler, a 4* WR from Brownsville, TN, chose Tennessee as his future school, while Dean, a 3* G from Ashdown, AR, chose Florida State over Cincinnati. While the Bearcats would have loved to have them, they are not huge losses with 4 weeks to go.

Re: Cincinnati Bearcats (NCAA 11)

Down the Stretch
Bearcats gain Joens and Brown with 2 weeks left

CINCINNATI -- With two weeks left before signing day, everyone is scrambling to finish off their recruiting classes, and Cincinnati had their best week left.

4* Justin Jones didn't even want any in-home visitors, he knew where he wanted to go. Jones committed to Cincinnati in front of friends and family at his high school on Friday to the delight of everyone. Staying close to home was the biggest factor for Jones, who could come in and compete for a spot even with All-Americans Camerron Cheatham and Dominique Battle comming back, and 2nd team All-Big East Reuben Johnson still playing.

4* Billy Brown however welcomed schools into his home, and the Cincinnati coaches left Florida with his committment. The #10 TE in the class chose the Bearcats over Miami (FL) and Auburn, showing that a national title does have it's perks.

Now it is crunch time, and Cincinnati still have a couple of recruits they are trying to gain, but it will take hard work to get them.

Signing Day Recap
Banks finally picks Cincinnati over Penn State

CINCINNATI -- Signing day has come, and Cincinnati is pleased with the 13 recruits that have signed on the dotted line to come to Cincinnati next year. The biggest priority for the coaches was making sure FL 3* CB Jordan Banks chose Cincy, and that he did, as he picked the Bearcats over Penn State on Tuesday. This gives UC the #58 ranked class for the year, and while that isn't what the national champions would like to be, next year should be the year the title has effects on recruiting.
