Huge win against Ohio! I'm guessing you subbed your running back out in the slot or motioned him out there once you saw man coverage?

It was actually a designed play; a 5 WR set with the HB in the slot. They ran man coverage the first two plays of the drive so I thought I would try to sneak the back in a route through the middle of the field and it worked perfectly.

Way too close of a game.

Re: Marshall University: A Thundering Herd Dynasty (NCAA 11)

wow, barely survived the scare with Ohio. That pass for a td by their quarterback was insane, it had some serious hangtime, looked like a punt lol. But that touchdown to Ward was a thing of beauty to win the game, that sucker has some wheels! I love reading your dynasty, keep up the coverage, and if you ever get a chance, check out my Tech dynasty with thoughts/feedback/suggestions.

BTW, what is up with Stanford?? Losing to San Jose State, and then losing to Duke? Ouch!

Yes, it was for sure a scare. My starting QB AJ Graham went down in the first quarter to a shoulder injury and never returned. I couldn't get anything going on offense at all hardly.

That Ohio TD was crazy... I had one on one coverage and their WR had height advantage on me. He just launched the thing straight up it seemed and I couldn't get adjusted to defend it.

The Ward TD was a lucky hit... they ran man coverage the first two plays of the drive and so I wanted to see if I could get a match-up with Ward on a LB. Ward is a 98 overall with 92 speed (I think) and it just so happened that I got that match-up.

I don't know what's going on with Stanford. They were preseason ranked 8. This same thing happened last year with Auburn and Ohio State. Auburn only won 2 games all season (they won the national title the year before) and Ohio State finished 6-6 regular season and lost their bowl game. It looks like Stanford is heading down that same path... because both of their losses were to inferrior teams.
