Source: Santa Clara Looking to Move Up To FBS

This coincides with Santa Clara announcing they will be heavily renovating Buck Shaw Stadium in order to make it a state of the art venue, and upgrading its seating capacity to 45,000.
This year the Broncos, who added football in 2000 after the program was dropped in 1993, posted a 9-4 record and made the FCS playoffs for the second year in a row. Not bad for a school that had only added scholarships five years before.
