And I'm not aware of the joystick passing or whatever? Care to explain? I'd love any and all pointers to cut down on INT's and help my passing game.

okay hmm let's see if I can explain. I drop back in the pocket and I start rolling out left ( my qb is a left hander, so try to keep this in mind). I see a receiver running from my left side, streaking across the field to the right. Let's say a defender is right on his heels, so the only way to get the ball to him is to lead him, and put the ball infront of him. Instead of simply just tapping the lets say X button (xbox), you hold the left joystick to the right, and then press the X button, and this will guide the pass more out infront of him to the right, increasing distance between the ball and the defender.

another example. Same situation (receiver streaking from left to right), but on the right side of the field, there is a defender playing zone. Back towards the middle of the field it is open. If you hold down the joystick to the left when you hit the x button, he will throw the ball to the left of the receiver, towards the middle of the field, and leads the pass away from that defender. This is very hard to explain without a video, but I hope it makes sense. let me tell you one thing, it realllllly improves accuracy, and cuts down on interceptions big time.

You can do the same thing like on a wheel route if you want to dump the ball over the head of a linebacker without him knocking it down...you hold UP on the left joystick when you press the receiver button X, but instead of holding X down, just barely tap it, and it will be more of a lob pass. I highly suggest going into practice mode, and just giving it a whirl and practice all types of passing sets, and call CPU defenses that you struggle against (mine is man coverage. I can dissect zone coverage all day long).

Hope this helps. I will try to see if I can make a video if this doesn't make sense.

Thanks, that actually makes perfect sense. I'll just have to try it some in practice mode and try to get rid of some of my bad habits.

I don't know how none of that youtube jazz works, so I will just stick to the EA sports world thing, its easy enough for me lol.

Congrats on the big win man, way to crush the Irish. Passing looked smoother this game, very nice. And that one handed interception was SWEET!!! Man you guys moved up the polls big time, wow.

Yeah, I remember going through another dynasty and saw they had the same issue and someone mentioned using youtube so they videos wouldn't get lost. Same thing with photobucket and the pictures.

I like pictures better, but you can upload more videos to EA Sports World at a time, so I get lazy and add more videos to game recaps than pictures, sometimes.
