Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

1-0 vs 2-0
Spoiler

Same story as last week. Hawai'i just couldn't stop Temple's run game. Hawai'i would pass for over 400 yards, but just couldn't capitalize when they needed to. Temple had 50 rushes for 433 yards and 6 TD's. Plus they had the ball for 5:50 longer than Hawai'i did. Those things were huge in this victory for Temple as they move to 3-0. Next week they head to Penn State though for their first road game of the season and first game against a ranked opponent. Coach Bohannon is confident that they'll take care of business though.

Temple
Chester Stewart 6-10 92 yards 1 TD 12 rushes 146 yards 2 TD
Bernard Pierce 18 rushes 111 yards 3 TD 1 catch 20 yards
Matt Brown 10 rushes 113 yards 1 TD 1 catch 5 yards 1 TD
Ahkeem Smith 10 rushes 63 yards 1 catch 13 yards
Rod Streater 3 catches 54 yards
Jaiquawn Jarrett 8 tackles
Elijah Joseph 5 tackles 2 sacks

Hawai'i
Bryant Moniz 34-47 406 yards 2 TD 2 rushes -11 yards
Alex Green 7 rushes 2 yards
Darius Bright 9 catches 149 yards 1 TD

Up next is @ #18 Penn State

"Another great win for the program. Our coaches and players are doing a great job so far and it's showing. We have a couple of tough games ahead though and we'll need to play even better to get the W's."

Upsets
#7 Nebraska @ Arizona 14-24

#10 USC plays @ #3 Boise next week in a big Pac-10 matchup

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

"This is ESPN's Erin Andrews. Temple is now 3-0 on the season and it's all thanks to their option run game Coach Brian Bohannon brought in this year. In just 3 games, Temple has 988 rushing yards and 12 TD's. They're averaging a little over 39 points per game as well. People have been comparing this team to the Pony Express except without the cheating. With TCU and Boise in BCS conferences now, everyone is expecting Temple to get the Non-AQ BCS bid this year. Penn State better watch out next week because this Temple team is the real deal and may end up better than the Pony Express. I caught up with Coach Bohannon after their game against Hawai'i about the topic."

"People comparing us to the Pony Express? That's huge. We're having a good season so far, but I wouldn't compare us to anything until we beat a legit team. We do expect to make a BCS bowl this year though."

"Let's take a look at the 4 guys running the show for Temple."

Chester Stewart - QB
44 rushes 353 yards
8.0 avg 3 TD

Bernard Pierce - HB
58 rushes 291 yards
5.0 avg 7 TD

Matt Brown - HB
40 rushes 271 yards
6.7 avg 1 TD

Ahkeem Smith - HB
14 rushes 73 yards
5.2 avg 1 TD

"As you can see, they have 4 guys that can run all over you all day. I feel sorry for any run D that has to play these guys. That's all from here, I'm Erin Andrews."

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

3-0 vs 2-1 (#18)
Spoiler

Penn State would receive the kickoff and go down and kick a FG. Then, on Temple's first play, they would fumble and Penn State would recover in the redzone. Luckily Temple was able to hold them to another FG so it was only 6-0 PSU. Temple would get a TD and FG in the second quarter to make it 10-6 Temple heading into half. Temple would get two more rushing TD's in the third quarter to make it 24-6 heading into the fourth. Penn State would score on a 2 yard run by Evan Royster but they would fail on the two point conversion to make it 24-12. Temple would answer back though with a 64 yard run by Matt Brown to make it 31-12 with 5:12 left. PSU would then score again and Temple would answer right back to make it 38-19 with 3:25 left. Penn State would score on an 87 yard TD pass and 51 yard TD pass in the last 2:57 of the game to make it a lot closer, but Temple would still get the 38-33 upset.

Temple
Chester Stewart 3-10 33 yards 2 INT 11 rushes 29 yards 1 TD
Bernard Pierce 15 rushes 150 yards 1 TD 1 catch 5 yards
Matt Brown 15 rushes 127 yards 2 TD 2 catches 28 yards
Ahkeem Smith 4 rushes 35 yards 1 TD
Kevin Kroboth 7 tackles 2 sacks
Elijah Joseph 5 tackles 1 sack
Muhammad Wilkerson 4 tackles 1 sack
Maurice Jones 3 tackles 1 INT

Penn State
Kevin Newsome 8-18 262 yards 3 TD 1 INT
Evan Royster 17 rushes 62 yards 1 TD 4 catches 95 yards 1 TD
Brett Brackett 6 catches 146 yards 1 TD

Up next is @ Miami

"This win was huge for us. Now we should start getting national attention and recruits will notice us a little more. Next week isn't an easy task either, though. Miami is only 2-2, but records don't matter. If we play good, we'll win. If we play our best, we'll win easily."

Upsets
#13 Oregon @ Arizona State 20-23
#22 West Virginia @ #20 LSU 41-7

USC-Boise Game
#10 USC @ #3 Boise State 26-29 OT

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

4-0 vs 2-2

This game was pretty close in the first half. Miami would jump out to a 14-0 lead with 6:52 left in the half, but Temple would score a TD with 20 seconds left to make it 14-7 Miami going into half. The second half was completely different though as Miami would destroy Temple, outscoring them 24-0 to win the game 38-7. Al Golden got the best of Temple this year, but Temple will be ready next year and it'll be in their house.

Temple
Chester Stewart 4-9 84 yards 1 INT 7 rushes 37 yards
Bernard Pierce 14 rushes 113 yards 1 catch 23 yards
Matt Brown 17 rushes 78 yards 1 TD 1 catch 23 yards
Ahkeem Smith 7 rushes 20 yards 1 catch 31 yards
Joe Jones 1 catch 7 yards
Elijah Joseph 5 tackles
Amara Kamara 5 tackles
Adrian Robinson 1 sack

Miami
Jacory Harris 17-21 375 yards 4 TD 2 rushes -5 yards
Damien Berry 19 rushes 101 yards 1 TD 4 catches 51 yards 1 TD
Travis Benjamin 4 catches 152 yards 1 TD

Coach Bohannon was not available for comment.

Up next is @ NIU

Upsets
#4 Florida @ #1 Alabama 21-19
#3 Texas @ #8 OU 15-52

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

So I'm getting a good amount of views, but basically no feedback, even after 5 games. Any suggestions? Do you guys like how I'm doing it right now or what? Did you guys like the conference changes?

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

"This is ESPN's Erin Andrews and I'm here with Temple football coach Brian Bohannon. Coach, people wanna know about your offense. What helps you guys succeed?"

"Well Erin, we have four very unselfish guys in the backfield. All four wanna see the others succeed and do good. At QB, Chester Stewart is a dual threat player. People say he's just a runner, but he's already thrown for over 200 yards in a game this year. At the RWB we have Matt Brown. He's one of the most electric players in the NCAA. He can run, catch, and return. We even have a few sets where he's at FB with Pierce at RWB. Speaking of Pierce, he's our FB. He's got a very good balance of speed and power. At the LWB we have Ahkeem Smith. He doesn't get as many carries as the other three guys, but when he does, watch out. He's also a very good blocker for our guys. All three backs are sophomores (Smith's a RS Sophomore) and all four guys are averaging at least 5 ypc."

"How do you guys plan on bouncing back after that Miami loss?"

"Well Erin we just gotta go out and play our ball. We played terrible last week."

"Thanks for your time coach. Good luck the rest of the season."

"Thanks Erin."

Re: Temple Owls Dynasty (NCAA 11)

I have a suggestion, adjust the sliders because beating Miami (FL) with Temple is unrealistic.
