By the way Happy New Years to all. My wife is stick and I have to work tomorrow (10-4) so we are just kicking it at home listen to the neighbors light off fireworks, but for those who are out and about stay safe and don't drink and drive.
Coach McCloud would like to announce that Ruffin McNeill will stay with the team as the OC. Btw, I like the write-ups for the coaches. Those were fun to read. Happy New Years to you as well! Can't wait till this gets started!!!

Congrats on the big national championship and a nice recruiting class! Also, really enjoyed the write ups for the coaches. EWU looks like they had a nice year too, I'm excited to see how this all plays out.

Good luck the next year. I hope you can repeat with Boise and hopefully get an invite to a major conference.

Re: 2 Teams=2 Dreams (BSU and EWU Quest for Perfection)

Glad you guys like the writeups. I didn't really want BSU to win the National Title in Year 1 without me running the show, but now that they did, my challenge is to repeat. I figure if I do, then I should have a pretty good chance of getting an invite.

I am very happy with how my recruiting classes turned out for both teams. I am pumped to get the depth charts up, and get going on games. Hope to have recaps for both teams depth chart/team preview, schedules and the Top-25 PreSeason tomorrow, so I can start playing and posting games on Sunday and Monday.

SEVERAL BIG NAMES CHOOSE PRO'S EARLY

After the 2010 Season was over players from across the nation had to decide would they return for another season and a chance to help their school play for a National Title, or would they leave early ready to cash in on their big payday.

Kellen Moore and Doug Martin both turned down a chance to see where they might go in the draft for a chance to repeat as National Champs, but others were unwilling to make that choice. Here is a list of some of the Impact Offensive Players who choose to leave early.

QB J. Harris-Miami
QB R. Tannehill-TAMU
QB R. Mallet-Arkansas
QB T. Pryor-Ohio State
QB K. Cousins-Michigan State
QB C. Newton
RB A. Robinson-Iowa
RB L. James-Oregon
RB B. Bolden-Penn State
RB S. Ridley-LSU
RB J. Todman-Uconn
WR J. Fuller-TAMU
WR-D. Brown-South Miss

WR J. Adams-Arkansas
WR D. Posy-OSU
WR BJ Cunningham-MSU
WR R. Cobb-Kentucky
WR D. Adams-Auburn
WR R. Broyles-Oklahoma
WR J. Jones-Alabama
College Insider via ESPN "The Ocho" Ryne Dezaron Comments

"Obviously seeing Mallet,Pryor and Newton decide to turn Pro was not a shock to everyone in fact it was the guys who decided to stay (A. Luck) that shocked everyone. Also every knew M. Ingram was done at the end of the year, but all the talk coming out of Eugene was that L. James would be returning to Oregon. With James leaving early K. Barner and D. Williams will carry the load along with L. Seastrunk at HB for the Ducks. With Ingram and Julio Jones leaving Alabama will be missing 2 explosive offensive players alot is riding on the arm of A. McCarron and SR HB T. Richardson."

JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GO PRO DIDN'T MEAN THEY WERE STAYING EITHER
Every year we see some of the best players in the country pack their bags and head to what they think will be a better situation. Sometimes it's lack of playing time, others because of a coaching change or it could be that they just miss home. Here is a list of some of the noteable transfers for the 2011 season.
QB C. Whitmer leaving Illinois for Middle Tennessee State
QB Y. Gallegos leaving TCU for North Texas
QB Ja Yu Clayton leaving Virginia Tech for Temple
QB K. Newsome leaving Penn State for Boston College
QB D. Shimski leaving BC for Maryland
QB J. Lark leaving BYU for San Jose State

RB M. Ford leaving LSU for Kansas
RB M. Ball leaving Wisconsin for Notre Dame
RB R. Rouse leaving Fresno State for Utah State
RB R. Wingo leaving Arkansas for Georgia
RB L. Caper leaving MSU for Minnesota
RB R. Finch leaving BC for Villanova
RB D. Thomas leaving Ole Miss for Memphis
RB K. Lawerence leaving Missouri for Nebraska
RB T. Robinson leaving Nebraska for Idaho
RB A. Booker leaving Marshall for ECU
RB K. Miles leaving South Carolina for UAB

PRESEASON HEISMAN CANIDATES

QB Kellen Moore-Boise State
QB Matt Barkley-USC
QB Z. Collaros-Cincinnati (Last year's winner)
QB L. Jones-Oklahoma
TE B. Reliford-Florida State

Ryne Dezaron Comments- "Moore has the inside track. He played amazing last year throwing for over 4000 yds 41 TD's and just 4 INT. Had the voting taken place after the National Championship game, he would've either won himself or at least taken away votes from Collaros to help C. Ponder or D. Moore win. Seeing no RB's or WR's in the Top-5 was a surprise but nothing more then seeing TE B. Reliford get nominated. However he did finished with a pretty amazing year last year (90 Rec 1267 yds 12 TD)"
