With Luck's departure almost certain, Coach Rod is looking ahead. They're top target, Dallas Brown. Brown is from Downey,California. He is a four prospect but coach Rod sees a lot of potential in him. Brown is the definition of a raw talented quarterback. He is good with his feat and has a cannon for an arm but his accuracy needs to improve if he hopes to play in Coach Rod's high octane pro style offense.

There isn't a single position that Shedrick Patton hasn't played, literally. He even played linemen in pee-wee. The 6'1 211 pound athlete is simply beastly to say the least. A coveted four star recruit, Shed will play best at the corner position. He fumbles too much to be a running back and seem to drop the ball a lot in his sophomore year when he played the slot. If he can improve his tackling, he could be a dominant safety.

Preview of USC-Stanford Rivalry Game
Key Injuries
Matt Barkley(QB) is listed as questionable. Starting right guard D. DeCastro is out for 2 weeks so the Cards will be without their top linemen. Expect them to throw a lot of quick screens and minimal running game.

Keys to the game
Both teams struggle to run the ball and both teams are good at stopping the run. USC's pass defense is ranked 4th in the nation so Luck is gonna need good play from his receivers and a little bit of luck. ESPN pick Stanford to win this won.
