Off-season

Finishing the 2009 season with a 7-6 (4-4) record under bobby bowden. They would go onto the Champs sports bowl and beat Wisconsin badgers 13-42 gaining their eighth win on the season. The Legendary Seminoles coach who coached from 1976-2009 has won 14 straight season with over 10 or more victories also attaining 2 National Championships, 12 Acc Championships during career has finally decide to put the hat on the rack and retire. FSU fans wonder who could replace this great coach....?



Tallahassee, FL - After the Gator bowl, Head coach Bobby Bowden addressed his locker room with an important announcement.

Bowden - " This was and will be the last game, as i decided to retire but rest assure that i leave this team and program in good hands. Now i would like to introduce the man who will be the new head coach for the 2010 season. Jimbo Fisher."

** Applause **

Fisher - " Its a great honor to be the head coach of this program. Also i would like to thank Coach Bowden and AD Randy Spetman for this opportunity to coach such a talent bunch of guys. I'm looking forwards to the 2010 season, as it should be a great one!"
