Kubiak Resigns for Personal Reasons!

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has announced that he will be resigning from his position before the 2010 season. It wasn't the best time to resign, with training camp and the preseason are approaching very quickly. They have a few canidates to fill the position, but no one knows how it will impact the Houston franchise.

"First off, I'm sorry for resigning on such short notice. I hope whoever comes to replace me gets things done in a hurry. I've noticed I haven't had a lot of family time, and I'd like to have fun with my great family. Once again, I'm sorry for it being on short notice. Long Live the Texans!"

- Gary Kubiak

We'll keep you updated on this story in Houston.

Who is THIS guy?

Following Gary Kubiak resigning from his head coach position in Houston, the Texans needed a new person to lead the team. After a quick search, the Texans found plenty on canidates that fit the bill. Only one could get the job though. The big winner was Kobe Hermann, former high school coach for Chattanooga High School, in Tennessee. You might be wondering, "Who??"

It's alright if you did, because thats what we did too. He grew up as a Bears fan, due to his sporty side of the family was from Chicago. For some reason, Bob McNair saw something in Hermann. The fans are obviously confused, and they have no idea what to expect. Bob McNair has set the expectation level very high for Hermann, and he hopes to meet the bar.
