Re: 1984 Dolphins Replay

Week #5 vs Cards.

Dolphins go into St. Louis (or Arizona) and level the previously unbeaten Cardinals 27-9. Marino throws for 274 yards and 4 TDs. Duper has 119 yards receiving and a TD. Cards took Clayton out of the game, he had 7 catches but only 54 yards.

Miami moves to 5-0, the Cards fall to 4-1

Fins now sit at 6-2 on the year, tied with the Jets for first in the East. Miami had lost 28-10 to Pittsburgh and then 31-28 to Houston the next week before righting the ship and pounding New England 49-17.

Good to see you're not just waltzing through every game. I had a tough time against Houston that year too.

I am in 1988 and just played the Rams at the Eagles. Although I beat them pretty good 34-14, Clyde Simmons leveled Jim Everett after a throw and took him out. Everett was lying completely still as the trainers came on the field and then I saw his feet twitch just a little. He is out three weeks, but it's just migraines. I thought Simmons killed him for a minute there.

I play in coach mode, so I did some testing before starting my season to get the sliders just where I wanted them. I had to tweak them since I am in coach mode. I go for realism, i dont want to win games 77-10 since that isnt "real" I coach for other teams as well for the "Marquee matchups" of the week. Having a lot of fun.

I will post league leaders since we are at halfway point

Re: 1984 Dolphins Replay

Dolphins run over the Bills 38-10 and the Jets 35-7 to go to 8-2 on the season. Marino had 284 yds and 2 Tds vs the Bills and 334 yards and 4 TDs vs the Jets in a torrential downpour at the Meadowlands. Jets actually struck first when O'Brien hit a wide open Mickey Shuler on a 55 yard TD strike on the games 4th play. From then out it was all Miami

Next Up: Eagles

Re: 1984 Dolphins Replay

Or OS could just move this thread to a totally nonsensical location where NO ONE will see it. This isnt a dynasty. It is a replay of a single historical season. Its bad enough NFL2k5 got buried but now this thread is in a spot where NO ONE will find it..

Will not be posting any further updates.

This has more to do with NFL2K5 then it does "Dynasties"
