October 29th - Jonesboro, AR

The Red Wolves(5-3)(3-1) have squeezed by another week! After going down 21-0 the Mean Green(2-7)(2-3) came back on a 24-0 run of their own before getting shut out 10-0 in the 4th quarter. Jermaine Robertson had a fumble on the inch yard line recovered in the 4th by North Texas, which proved not to be costly but still was close to letting the Mean Green taking the lead in the 4th. Arkansas State sealed the deal with 3:11 to go by sending in Sirgregory Thornton to punch in a 7 yard run. The Red Wolves will travel to conference leading Florida Atlantic(3-4)(3-1) next week. Both teams will be fighting for the top spot in the Sun Belt on Saturday.

Dwayne Frampton celebrating on the first touchdown of the day!

Showdown for the number one spot in the Sun Belt. Both of these teams are hungry for a victory here to take number one with only three conference games left after this, the winner here could very well take home the Sun Belt trophy!

November 5th - Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Red Wolves(6-3)(4-1) became bowl eligible after a win against the Owls(3-5)(3-2) as well as took the lead in the Sun Belt conference. The Red Wolves pounded the ball on the ground after the Owls proved defenseless in the first half against the run. Jermaine Robertson picked up over 200 yards on the ground and won player of the game awards. After losing three straight games earlier in the season, the Red Wolves have bounced back and won 4 straight now and are looking unstoppable. Next week the Red Wolves will host Louisiana Lafayette(5-5)(3-4).

Kedric Murry drags a defender in the endzone for 6 points in the second quarter.

Jermaine Robertson had his "Owls" in a row as he rushed for over 200 yards.

November 8th - Jonesboro Sun Sports

The Red Wolves have taken the lead in the Sun Belt with only three games left in their season. They are only ahead by 1 game on each of the three behind them, owning tie breakers with Louisiana Monroe and Florida Atlantic. Troy will be the Red Wolves last game this season, both being Senior Day and a rivalry game in Jonesboro. That game could prove to be the Sun Belt championship game and will be a great game to be at. The Red Wolves will host Louisiana Lafayette this weekend and should be a fun game to watch.

Game Notes
The Red Wolves look to keep conference championship hopes alive with the Ragin' Cajuns coming to town. The Red Wolves offense is ranked #42 in the nation while the Ragin' Cajuns defense comes in at #110. The Red Wolves should have an easy game, but if they overlook these guys we could see an upset as we did when Western Kentucky visited earlier this season.

November 12th - Jonesboro, AR

On the inch yard line as time expired the Red Wolves failed to punch the ball in to take the lead. The Red Wolves(6-4)(4-2) trailed as much as 17 in the fourth quarter in Jonesboro on Saturday. With less than 2 minutes to go the Red Wolves brought the game within 3 points and a costly fumble by the Ragin' Cajuns on the 1 yard line was the Red Wolves chance at capping off a huge comeback victory. But after 3 stops came up 4th down with only :08 seconds remaining, the Red Wolves stayed on the field to attempt the winning play, instead of kicking the easy 3. They snapped the ball with 2 seconds to go on 4th and goal, and from there the huge goal line stand from the Ragin' Cajuns lead them to victory. The Red Wolves offense could not get anything going throughout the first 3 quarters, with receivers dropping balls and both quarterbacks overthrowing receivers. It was just one of those days you wished you had back. The Red Wolves will be traveling to Middle Tennessee State(2-7)(1-4) next week for their last road game of the season.

Rains (#87) tries to punch in the ball as time expires. ULL with a huge goal line stand to upset the Red Wolves.

Game Notes
After losing an important Sun Belt match up the Red Wolves will look to beat MTSU two years in a row. With only two Sun Belt games left the Red Wolves they own the tie breaker with 2 of the 3 teams tied for first, leaving Troy as their only threat if the Red Wolves can get the easy victory here.
