Thanks man! those two were easy games lol Boise could get into the National Championship picture if either Stanford or Alabama loose.

Standford got Oregon this week & Alabama got Miss. State

But Boise got TCU this week so they gotta win lol that game determines who wins the MWC title

Showdown Saturday

Its that time of the year, as we see the BCS top 3 go into action this week. This will determine who wants that national championship. #1 Alabama, #2 Stanford and #3 Boise State are looking forward to their matchup this weekend.

Matchup Preview | November 12, 2011
@
#7 Oregon Ducks
(8-2, Away)
#2 Stanford Cardinal
(9-0, Home)
Injury Report
QB. Darron Thomas [Pulled Hamstring]
Probable
HB. Stepfan Taylor [Bruised Shoulder]
probable
QB. Bryan Bennett [Torn Groin]
3 Weeks
LT. Jonathan Martin [Foot Fracture]
7 weeks

RT. David Yankey [Broken Tailbone]
5 weeks

RT: Tyler Mabry [Broken Tailbone]
Questionable

If this isn't a calling card for Stanford to win this. Then i don't know what else is. Both Thomas and Bennett are hurt so now Oregon has to rely on their 3rd string quarterback to make the calls for them. Stanford defense can't be to relaxed with the #3 ranked rushing offense in Oregon's lamichael james in the backfield.

Matchup Preview | November 12, 2011
@
#1 Alabama Crimson Tide
(9-0, Away)
Mississippi State Bulldogs
(6-3, Home)
Injury Report
RT. DJ Fluker [Broken Wrist]
2 Weeks
LT. James Carmon [High Ankle Sprain]
Questionable

LG. Gable Jackson [Broken Ankle]
4 Weeks

Mississippi State could surprise people with a huge win over Alabama. If they can't then it will most likely be another W for Alabama who having a near perfect season already.

Matchup Preview | November 12, 2011
@
#3 Boise State Broncos
(7-1, Away)
TCU Horned Frogs
(6-3, Home)
Injury Report
RT. Charles Leno [Bruised Shoulder]
Probable
C. James Fry [Broken Wrist]
probable

RG. Spencer Thompson [Strained Back]
6 Weeks

This is basically the MWC championship game right here. Both Boise or TCU has yet to loose in conference play. So who ever wins here will most likely be crowned champs. Both these teams have great defense Boise ranked #2 in total defense and #1 in Pass while TCU ranked #1 in rush defense. It will all come down to how well their offense can put together plays for TD. Boise should have the advantage their with Kellen Moore who already passed the 2,000+ mark with 27 TD and only 2 int!

Re: Miami Hurricanes: Decades of Dominance

just now catching up, sorry i haven't posted bro. Got a great season going so far. Tough loss to my Hokies bro, I told you that you couldn't sleep on them. David Wilson is nasty, and he is going to be something else this year in real life. I can't wait for some college football!!!

Solid wins since the loss over the Hokies, and this week will be a huge week. Wouldn't that be crazy if Bama and Stanford lost, and Boise State played VT in the championship? haha....idk prolly not, but still would be wild. Good job on the presentation so far, although grammar is your friend

#9 Florida State @ #12 Miami

Everything is Golden!
Miami notched their 10 win of the season by beating Florida state

Benjamin had a break out game racking up a new school record of 224 Yds in a game

Miami Gardens, Fl. -
One more game left in the season, as the BCS bowl games are just around the corner. Its homecoming weeks for Miami which means seniors come last year and beyond came to watch their former team play in state rival Florida State. This game is always intense from start to finish and this one is just the same. [41-19]

A warm afternoon down here in southern florida, as florida state travels a few miles down the road to face in-state rival miami hurricanes. One of the most looked at game for both these teams. Last we saw a dominate performance by florida who just straight up dominated miami last year. Florida State passing game was a question mark coming into the game but left the game with alot of questions answered. Ej Manuel showed what he had going 15 out of 31 for 202 Yds with no touchdown but threw a int. The running game was the main focus of their offense. JR RB Chris Thompson gave it everything tonight touching the ball 27 times for 178 Yds averaging 6.5 yards in the game and saw the endzone 1 time on the night. The seminoles defense was finding was into the backfield to harass jacory all night racking up 6 sacks and a int on the night.

Dawson was in jacory's face all game long racking up 3 sacks.

Miami performed well infront of their home crowd with all the seniors from last year returning to watch. They didn't want to let them down on the field especially against florida state. Jacory Harris had a nice outing completing 18 out of 33 passes for 328 Yds tossing 3 Tds and an 1 int on the night. Mike james had another good night on the ground touching the ball 24 times for 147 Yds for 1 Touchdown on the night. The defensive could get any pressure on the quarterback at all which is surprising.

The game started out with a bang for florida state, as Ej Manuel handed the ball off to Chris Thompson who dodged and ducked his way threw the crowd of hurricanes to get into the endzone on an 80 Yds TD to start the game off. [7-0]

On the 'canes first possession they were either pressured or florida state defense was smothering the receivers. It didn't look like florida state wasn't gonna let them get by them so easily. It was on florida state next possession that miami was able to score, as Cornerback Brandon McGee picked off the ball and returned it for a touchdown tying up the game. [7-7] Florida state made up for their mistakes and would not throw another interception for the rest of the night. The seminoles did happen to take the lead with a field goal after driving down the field and stalling at the goal line. [10-7]

The second qtr began and it was a low scoring game to begin with, as both teams only kicked field goals through the quarter. [13-10] The pressure picked up later in the game for miami. Only 40 secs left in the game and they need to get some type of score on the board to build some momentum during halftime. Harris wasted little time with passing the ball around. He found SR receiver Travis Benjamin down the sideline for a touchdown catch, as the clock struck zero ending the first half of the game. [13-17] Same way the second quarter ended for miami. It began the same way in the opening of the third quarter. Jacory on a play action found travis benjamin once again flying passed the defense converge for another TD on the night. [13-24] Two minutes after the hurricanes touchdown the seminoles were able to put a drive together which they needed if they wanted to stay close to miami. They made it passed the hurricanes 50 yd line but their drive stalled up and had to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown. [16-24] Miami would answer right back with a field goal of their own to extended their lead. [16-27]

Opening up the fourth quarter...florida state knew that they needed to score on their next couple of drives in order to take the lead and maybe even the win. Manuel was able to rally his team together telling them that this were they made their stand to win the game. All that talk but no bite for the seminoles, as they were able stretch the field but only kicked yet another field goal. [19-27] At the rate they were going their was no chance of them winning the game. On the other hand miami did find the endzone on back to back drive. One were jacory found benjamin again for his third touchdown on the night and the it was mike james who pounded his way into the endzone and shattered any hope that jimbo fisher and the Seminole had of winning. [19-41]

Big Hit of the Game

Dual Offensive Players of the game
Chris Thompson RB (JR)
27 Car, 178 Yds, TD
4 Rec, 16 Yds

Travis Benjamin WR (SR)
10 Rec, 224 Yds, 3 TD

Next Week: Bye Week

Re: Miami Hurricanes: Decades of Dominance

Miami Gardens, Fl. - The recruiting trail start to heat up, as we draw near to national signing day. Only a few more month before we see all new faces on the gridiron. It see the gators caught a huge fish this past weekend with the commitment of #1 WR and #1 best prospects in the 2012 class. Evan Howard will take his skills from Spanish Fork, UT to Florida and he will be playing for the Gators. Howard should make a quick impact in the swamp! Staying on the topic of Florida miami has signed another player to their 2012 class. Meet the newest hurricane:

Name:Bobby Bennett, Golden Glades, Fl.
Height/Weight:6'6" , 275 lbs
Position: Tackle
Position Rank: #19
National Rank: #412
Star Potential:3***
SPARQ
:57.00

Bennett was an outstanding player at Golden Gates high in Orlando. He originally played the Guard position because of his excellent run blocking skills [B-]. He is great on pulling plays [B+ in ACC]which they ran alot of at his high school. He was moved to tackle during his senior year and did an alright at the position but looks to move back to guard for the hurricanes.

Thanks for tuning into RecruitingFLY. We bring you news on prospects around the nation.

This week we take a look at head coaches on the hot seat. Today HC is ECU's Ruffin McNeil.

ECU hasn't won a conference championship in 2 years and still might not see the title this year. Sitting at 5-5 (4-3) ECU is ranked 5th in conference (ranked 3rd in the east). Coach McNeill needs to right this ship and turn this team around or else they could go searching else where. They have a chance to knock off the division leader UCF and could beat Marshall to end their season on a good night. The Pirates are projected to play Fresno in the Hawai'i bowl lets see if a bowl game is in their future!

Re: Miami Hurricanes: Decades of Dominance

Ha!!! Wow!!! My guess was right that Bama and Stanford would lose, haha. That is awesome! But wow, Oregon jumping 11 spots to #1? Hmm...idk bout that lol. I hope Tech goes past them and its Hokies representing the ACC (of course they gotta make it through the ACC Championship Game first).

That pic you took of Travis Benjamin is just plain sick dude, beautiful shot, and congrats on the win over FSU. Reversed roles from last year, eh??
