Even more happy to see that even with Moore,Martin and most of the Defense gone, we are still ranked #4 Preseason. I sure hope I end up with the same results.

I was very intrested in the Coaching changes. Pretty interesting to see all the changes. Will be interesting to see if Tedford can help make Wyoming successfull. Same with the coaching changes at Idaho.
I wanna see if they can repeat again this year with the talent they have. As for the coaching changes i was kinda surprised when couple head coaches got fired

#7 Miami @ Wake Forest

It's A 'Cane Thing!

Demon Deacons are no Match for Miami.

Lamar Miller was tearing it up on the ground.

Winston-Salem, NC -
The 2012 season kicked off with a bang last week. Now week 2 begins and we are gonna see alot of heavyweights duking it out. The ACC conference race began this past weekend and we will see Miami on the road against wake forest.

What a way to start off strong in your conference! Wake forest was clearly no match for the hurricanes coming into this game. Experts had Miami pegged to win this by a wide margin. Wake forest put up an early fight against the hurricanes. They took advantaged of the shaky offense Miami had and pressured Morris all night long forcing him into mistakes. Those mistakes Morris made came back to bite, as they watched the deacons offense cross the endzone twice. [0-14]

Many fans believed that their team was gonna pull off an upset against a highly ranked team. Coach Golden and team had different plans. The hurricanes offense took the field and did what they did best which was run the ball. After a few key runs and pass plays Miami was finally able to get into the redzone. It could be setup more perfectly for them to score, as Morris took the snap and who else but temple was running across the middle. [7-14]

That wasn't the last time the hurricanes saw going to see the endzone. On the very next play Middle Linebacker Kelvin Cain came up with one out of the two intercepts he had during the game. Which gave the hurricanes prime position to tie this game up. Freshman tight end trevor hill got into the action tonight catching the ball 10 times for 85 yards and scored three touchdowns on the night. One of which tied the game up going into the half. [14-14]

Trevor Hill had the best performance of his life.

Miami came out guns blazing in the third quarter, as Trevor Hill scored back to back touchdowns for Miami. Which led him to win the player of the game award! [28-14] After three minutes had past in the quarter the deacons were finally able to put up some kind of points on the board squeezing in a field goal. [28-17]

A legend in the making...

Miami kicked off the fourth quarter with a quick field goal strike which tagged on three more points. [31-17] If things did not already go bad for the deacons then they just got even worse. After a long period of night scoring for either teams. The deacons managed to hold Miami offense from putting together a scoring drive. On the ensuing punt the returner who field the ball but quickly got his bell wrong, as fullback Maurice hagens clocked his bell which forced a fumble. Then Juco Transfer Andrew Lake scoops up the ball for a quick TD score. [38-17]

* Big Hit of the Game *

Already down by a large margin there was not anything wake forest could do to come back in time. They proved everyone wrong, as price was able to scramble forty-four yards into the endzone for the score. Price looked like a running-back out there ducking and dodging the defense! [38-24] It didn't take long for Miami to answer back with a long run of their own thanks in part to Lamar Miller. Everyone could see how explosive the hurricanes offense is with Miller in the backfield. [45-24]

Only a minute left in the game and wake forest had the ball. There was no way they could make a comeback but they tried anyways. The deacons would go into their 2-minute no-huddle offense and to some degree it actually worked for them, as they were able to score a touchdown. [45-31] The game was basically over after that play and the hurricanes would take home the victory.

Players of the Game
Trevor Hill TE (FR)
10 Rec, 85 Yds, 3 TD

Chris Givens WR (SR)
2 Car, 11 Yds, 2 TD
4 Rec, 55 Yds

Next Week: #5 Miami @ #13 USC

----------

Miami Gardens, FL. -Its that time of the year. When teams start to rebuild their squad. Adding in new freshmen where the old seniors played hoping to find that special player that can make a huge impact on the field. The hurricanes made a quick run on the recruiting trails this past weekend. They had gotten a hard verbal commitment from 4* Strong Safety Chris Ware.

Game Notes
Game of the week between #5 Miami @ #13 USC. This game could very well shake up the top 25 polls for the rest of the year. Two powerhouses go at it this weekend. Experts have Miami pegged to win this game but they will have to bring everything they got just to win this. USC just finished outside of a championship game last year and looks to pave a path to the PAC-12 Championship but first they would have to go through Miami just to do so.
