Feelin' It
Miami notches another conference win!

Atlanta, GA - Coming into this match-up Georgia Tech was unbeaten. That streak of theirs didn't last for long, as the hurricanes came into town and blew them away. A perfect game between both the offense and defense of the hurricanes.

Defense stands tall
Miami's defense holds firm against a weak virginia offense!

Miami's defense makes big plays to win the game!

Charloettesville, VA - Only a few weeks away from the end of the 2012 season! We have a one sided match-up here in Virginia. The cavaliers welcome the hurricanes into their house this weekend. Virginia host a 1-7 record on the year, as Coach London tries to get his team on the track. While on the other hand Miami comes in with a 5-3 record and looks to squeeze into a bowl game this year.

Miami came in and did what everyone expected them to do. To win this easy match-up against the cavaliers. Things didn't being well for either team, as Miami threw a pick which cut their first drive of the game short. Virginia on the other hand also threw a pick but was unfortunately went back for a touchdown thanks to Freshman corner-back Cedric Williams. [7-0] The cavaliers were able to put up three point just before the first quarter ended. Something they hoped to build on later in the game. [7-3]

The cavaliers did happen to make another score but it wasn't a touchdown. Yes, they scored yet another field goal something that did not sit well with the crowd. [7-6] Virginia kept the game close for half of the quarter until Miami's offense took the field and they looked they were not even trying to win this game. Quarterback Ryan Williams has put this team on his back for the last past two games and showed how well he could do. Completing 20 out of 30 passes for 201 Yds to go along with 3 TD and 2 Int.

"You have to be able to go out their and perform to your best abilities." - Said Ryan Williams

After leading the team down into the cavaliers redzone. Everybody knew who was getting the ball but once again it seems like nobody could stop him from getting it. Freshmen Tight End Trevor Hill has been making his name know around the nation! Scoring at-least half of the hurricanes touchdowns this season including this one which widen the gap between Virginia and Miami. [14-6] The first half seemed like it could go either way but that was not the cause in the second half. The hurricanes had all the momentum and just kept building on them. Freshmen Corner-back Cedric Williams made it know that he is a baller out on the field. Picking off his second int of the game and returning it for another touchdown. [21-6]

"I'm not worried about my limited time on the field but when i do. Everybody better know not to pass it my way!" - Said Cedric Williams after his second Int

Things did not end there for the canes, as they were able to score on back to back touchdowns. Wide Receiver Darren Temple saw the endzone for another touchdown on the year. Temple shown he has the skills every coach wants in his receivers. Trevor Hill caught yet another touchdown on the year making it his 18th so far. Talk about an impressive freshmen year and hopefully he can continue building on it! [35-6]

"I'm just here to prove that I have the skill-set to be a great hurricane tight end. Just like all the other ones before me!" - Said Trevor Hill after breaking the school [season] Reception record.

The Fourth quarter began and Miami just had this game wrapped up but that did not stop them from scoring once again. This time Quarterback Ryan Williams could not find anyone open so he decided to take it in for himself. Surprised most people because he it not the fastest guy out on the field. [42-6]

Virginia did not give up hope just yet! They were slinging it all around the field on offense making some key plays to keep their drives alive. Why did they not play like this earlier rather then later? Quarterback Metheny passed for the teams first touchdown of the night which did not even matter now. [42-13] Virginia even went for an onside kick and somehow recovered it. Only two minutes left into the game and the cavaliers were trying their hardest to make something happen in a quick fashion. Their offense was moving the ball so much easier on the hurricanes defense then they did earlier. Somehow they even pounded the ball in between the tackles for yet another score. [42-20] After that it was basically Miami's victory on the night.
