solid win to kick off the season, way to take it to SEC!! Starting off on the right foot, this could be a good one.

Backfield thinned down!

(Ronnie Lucas X-ray)

Miami, Fl. -
The hurricanes who are coming off a big win against Georgia Bulldogs. Found out that they will be without Fr. runningback Ronnie Lucas for the rest of the season. Lucas who comes from north lauderdale, fl was recruited because of his down hill running style. His job this season was to completed both Michael Ford and Kevin Owens speed style of running. It was during the 4th quarter when lucas had torn his rotator cuff after being hit hard by one of UGA's linebackers. He was on the ground with teammates around him hoping that the injury was not serious. Here is what coach golden and runningback coach terry Richardson had to say.

Coach Golden: Its tough to loose a great player like Lucas, especially in the first week of the season. Our backfield is really thin this season so now we are gonna have to run ford abit more then we had planned to.

Runningback Coach Terry Richardson:
Lucas was a great player for us in the spring. He showed his toughness on the field during practice each and every time he touched the ball. We hope he has a speedy recovery and that he can come back to the team hungry to play some football.

SEC-ACC Crossover II
Miami tries their luck against another SEC team.

#8 Miami @ #16 Arkansas

Date: September, 07, 2013
Time: 6:00PM
Place: Fayetteville, AR

Game Preview
Another SEC-ACC crossover this weekend. We see the hurricanes of Miami take on Arkansas Razorbacks. Arkansas who is coming off a disappointing loss to SEC opponent Florida gators. They look to try to bounce back against the hurricanes this time. The razorbacks has a top notch offense that the hurricanes have to be careful of. Hopefully the hurricanes can produce the same production that they did last week against georgia. We will find out this weekend!

Experts picks
Kirk - Miami
Lee - Miami

Re: Preview: #8 Miami @ #16 Arkansas

That's a shame about Lucas, especially with the lack of a medical redshirt option

Still, fantastic win to kick off the season!

My prediction of the upcoming game, Miami 34 Arkansas 28. Tough break on Lucas someone will need to step up and fill his role.
