Fayetteville, AR - Coach Bobby Petrino is returning to the Razorback program for another season. The announcement comes after learning of the resignation of Coach Tressel from Ohio State. Coach Petrino informed us that he wasn't going to leave Arkansas until he felt it was time to leave. The Arkansas program welcomes him back with open arms and hopes for another good season. The Razorbacks' season ended last year with a heartbreaking Sugar Bowl loss to Ohio State, the program's first BCS Bowl Appearance.
Petrino has high hopes for the upcoming season even though he has lost some of his best starters from last season. Ryan Mallett will no longer be under center, as it will be a battle between Tyler Wilson, Brandon Mitchell and Brandon Allen. We will see how this season goes and see if Arkansas can pull out a National Championship season.
Re: The Continuing Legacy of Bobby Petrino (NCAA 12)
Total Domination
Wilson shows he is better than Mallett!
Fayetteville, AR: In what was to be the proving grounds for Tyler Wilson, many people impressed the coaches. Tyler Wilson went out and played a great game, but his real challenge has yet to come. Knile Davis also impressed the coaches by rushing for nearly 300 yards and scoring three touchdowns.
Coach Petrino held a press conference but refused to comment on the performance on Tyler Wilson. It seems as though he isn't wanting to get ahead of himself this early in the season. With next week comes a new challenge, the New Mexico Lobos comes to town for a heated match.
