Commits
Bruce Anthony, ATH, Miami, FL
Caliber: *****
Position Rank: #1
National Rank: #2
Scouting Report: Anthony was the most sought after recruit in the country, and Auburn did a great job to take him from Alabama and Florida. A star wideout and corner in high school, the speedster will likely play on the offensive side of the ball at Auburn. A 4.0 GPA student, Anthony is smart enough to learn the offense and contribute as a freshman.

Gilbert Williams, HB, New Hope, NC
Caliber: *****
Position Rank: #2
National Rank: #11
Scouting Report: Built like a power back, the 6'2'', 200 pound Williams was the fastest man in North Carolina in the 2011 state track meet, and that speed translates onto the football field. Along with his breakaway speed, Williams is able to avoid tacklers just as well as any prospect in the nation, and has an impressive array of power moves. He might get red-shirted by an Auburn team that is deep at halfback, but he will certainly make an impact.

Ryan Hutchinson, OLB, Key West, FL
Caliber: *****
Position Rank: #1
National Rank: #33
Scouting Report: Hutchinson was swiped from LSU after the Florida native witnessed Auburn's linebacker play against the Gators. He's not the most agile outside linebacker, but already tackles like an established starter, and is one of the hardest hitters in any high school. Could use a lot of work on side to side movement, but might start next year.

Jason Dickerson, QB, Rockville, MD
Caliber: ****
Position Rank: #3
National Rank: #48
Scouting Report: One of the prized recruits in this year's quarterback class, Dickerson may have the strongest arm in the nation, which will only get better as he adds more muscle onto his 183 pound frame. The righty is deceptively quick, and should be a very good fit in Gus Malzahn's spread offense.

Adam Brady, FS, Winter Haven, FL
Caliber: ****
Position Rank: #1
National Rank: #51
Scouting Report: The top free safety in the country chose Auburn because he has a great chance to start next year. Brady ran a 4.2 40 at the Florida summer camp, and will be the fastest player the Tigers recruit this year. At 220 pounds, Brady's elite open field hitting ability may project him as a linebacker down the road.

Pat Wise, DE, Tarrant, AL
Caliber: ****
Position Rank: #8
National Rank: 120
Scouting Report: Auburn's first in-state commit of the year is a 6'6'' pass rusher who specializes in using his power moves to get to the quarterback. Wise could use a bit more bulk in his 234 pound frame, but projects as a starting end on a good SEC team

Matt Adams, G, Macon, GA
Caliber: ****
Position Rank: #8
National Rank: #131
Scouting Report: Adams played in one of the best passing offenses in the country in high school, and has impressive footwork in that regard. However, he will need to learn to run block before making an impact at the next level. The Macon native has a great first three steps that allow him to get to the second level quickly.

Jeremy Spencer, TE, Bainbridge, GA
Caliber: ****
Position Rank: #6
National Rank: #201
Scouting Report: The four star tight end is considered one of the best blocking tight ends in the country. A lifelong Auburn fan, he committed immediately after a scholarship offer was made.

Game Notes
Quick Facts: Georgia's turnover difference of +11 is 5th best in the country and tops in the SEC.....HB Isaiah Crowell leads the NCAA in rushing yards and could be the first true freshman to win the Heisman trophy, which bodes badly for Auburn's 85th ranked rush defense...The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry has been going since 1892, with Auburn holding a 54-52-8 advantage.....while home teams have won the last two games, since 1992 the road team is 12-6-1.

Ken Newsome, WR, Greenville, AL
Caliber: *****
Position Rank: #8
National Rank: #23
Scouting Report: Newsome is an intelligent 6'2'' balanced wideout. Not elite in any particular skill, but above average in all of them. Showed enough speed to beat fast corners deep, and enough route running skill to find holes in the defense. Needs to bulk up a bit to beat press coverage, and if he does he could move to tight end.

Quincy Robinson, ATH, Opp, AL
Caliber: *****
Position Rank: #9
National Rank: #31
Scouting Report: Playing virtually every position in high school, Robinson is the definition of the "athlete" position. Doesn't have the speed required to be a SEC corner, so likely slots in as undersized speed linebacker or a safety with elite coverage ability. Could also play halfback or wideout, but likely doesn't have good enough hands for the latter.

Re: Auburn Tigers (NCAA '12)

4th quarter explosion leads Auburn to win

ATHENS (AP) - Michael Dyer had four rushing touchdowns as Auburn beat Georgia 56-28 in The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry

Auburn (8-2, 5-2) was tied with Georgia (6-4, 4-3) heading into the 4th quarter, but the Tigers scored 28 points to turn the game into a laugher.

Dyer outperformed Heisman favourite Isaiah Crowell, who was injured during the first quarter after taking a mammoth helmet to helmet hit from Eltoro Freeman. The freshman didn't return until the second half, where he had 60 rushing yards and a pair of scores. Dyer finished with 215 yards on the ground.

The big story of the day was the absolutely awful performance from Aaron Murray, who completed only 8 of 29 passes for 162 yards and threw four interceptions. The backbreaker was his third pick of the day, which was returned by Jake Holland for a touchdown to make the score 42-28. Georgia never seriously challenged after that.

Auburn will return home to take on FCS Southeast squad Samford, before a massive Iron Bowl battle against Alabama.

Steven Nicholas, C, Destrehan, LA
Caliber: ***
Position Rank: #23

Tigers looking good! That's one heck of recruiting class as well. I bet a bunch of those kids are playing by their sophomore year. Better beat bama here in a few weeks!
