Cruisers Avoid Cavaliers Upset Bid

Jonathan Taylor fights through a trio of defenders for receiving touchdown.

Cooper Tillman uses his balance to shrug off a defender and roll into the endzone for a score.

Carolina Cruisers

2012 Carolina Cruisers Recruiting Update

By this time last season the Cruisers already had seemingly half of their recruits wrapped up with a commitment to CU. However, this season is a much different story. It was until last week when Safety Morris Scott and Tail Back J.R. Connor committed, Carolina's first commits of the new recruiting class. Joining them this week is Tight End Cornell Pennington.

*** TB J.R. Connor
Homestead, FL
5-9 210

He's a fast Back who's shifty. Despite his weight, he's not very strong and will have to work hard to become an inside runner. It's difficult to say if he'll see the field as a true freshman, but if the need arises, he definitely has the ability.

*** TE Cornell Pennington
Irmo, SC
6-5 235

Pennington is a pure receiving Tight End and will have to do a lot in order to become a good blocker. With that said, he has the speed of a slot receiver and can run routes and catch better than some current starters. Look for him to be redshirted next season, but he should be involved after Tyrone Rose departs

*** FS Morris Scott
Quincy, FL
6-0 180

Scott was a surprise commit. He seemed to be favoring Illinois for most of the recruiting process, but suddenly committed to the Cruisers. He's a quality zone cover Safety, but he can also dish out his fair share of hits. He should be a welcomed addition to the Cruiser secondary.

Re: Carolina Cruisers Dynasty - NCAA '12

I'm Dreaming Of A White...VICTORY!

The blocking is set up perfect (kudos to Dane Lewis) for Jonathan Taylor as he goes for a big 25 yard touchdown run.

Jonathan Taylor had running room all game and here he busts off a 20 yard gain.

Nick Nicholson makes a beautiful catch in the back of the endzone.

Cooper Tillman adds on to an already impressive lead with a one-handed pick six.

Cruisers Notch Ninth Win In Raleigh

Gavin Todd finds a wide open Cooper Tillman for an easy early score.

Zack Spruill collects another sack and jars the ball loose as well midway through the second quarter.

Jonathan Taylor had a tough day, but was able to surge forward for the go-ahead score.
