One-Defeated. Hokies Top Eagles.
October 19, 2013

Blacksburg - So much for those BCS title hopes. Boston College was on a roll with five straight wins and appeared to have a great opportunity to run the table. That is, until, the Hokies rolled in. Virginia Tech took an early 14-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. The combo of D. Reid and R. Beirow combined for three scores in the third quarter to put the game out of reach as the Hokies went on to win 45-38.

The lone bright spot was during an incredible comeback that included a 28-7 run, C. Rettig threw four touchdowns, all to B. Swigert. Rettig closed the game with 483 yards passing, with Swigert having 245 yards receiving. Now 5-1 on the season, Boston College prepares for a 5-2 NC State squad next week.

Re: Eagles Fly Once Again - BC Dynasty (NCAA 12)

To be honest, I have somewhat lost interest in playing the games and posting results on here. That being said, I think I'll simulate games (and focus on recruiting) and do maybe one or two updates per season and another off-season one probably. This way I can focus more time on Madden.

Re: Eagles Fly Once Again - BC Dynasty (NCAA 12)

End of 2013 Season:

After finishing the season on a five game win streak, I was 11-1 heading into the ACC Championship against #6 ranked Georgia Tech. GT spanked me, 31-10. Nonetheless, I got a Sugar Bowl invite against Alabama. That was, once again, another spanking, 33-14. Thus I finished the season ranked 11th and 11-3 record.

On a positive note, my running bank Tahj Kimble won the Heisman with 1548 yards rushing and 22 scores.

Now it's on to the off-season, where I'm feeling I need to find another corner that I couldn't get during the regular season.
