Your title for the Notre Dame game also says BC runs over Wolfpack, but yet they are the Irish.

Great season so far though. Congrats.

My god, I'm a failure at posting I guess. Looks like I'm facing Miami for the ACC Championship, perhaps better results this time? We'll see.

ACC Champion Crowned, Hurricane Dominate Again
December 10, 2011

Charlotte - Two weeks ago, Miami rolled over Boston College in each team's regular season finale. Now, two weeks later, the two teams faced off once again, this time for the ACC Championship title. The result? Just about the same thing as last time, a dominated performance by Miami.

Similar to the last time, Boston College ran with Miami through the first quarter, tying the game at seven with 1:14 left in the first period. And likewise in the last meeting, Miami rocked the Eagles in the second quarter. This time, Miami scored thirteen points, commanding a 20-7 lead at halftime and never looking back. Miami would score two more touchdowns in the second half and Boston College's comeback would fall short after cutting the lead to sixteen with 1:51 left in the game and being unable to secure an onside kick.

Now 9-4 on the season, Boston College will prepare for a bowl game, many expect to be the Champs Sports Bowl, perhaps playing in another rematch as experts expect them to face off against Notre Dame.

BC Scores 28 Off Crist Turnovers in Rout of Irish
December 29, 2011

Orlando - The game was one that Fighting Irish fans may try to forget as soon as possible. Dayne Crist had six turnovers that resulted in twenty-eight Boston College points as the Eagles topped Notre Dame, 48-20.

The game started off as pure domination by Boston College with Montel Harris (who had a ridiculous 266 yard game after being snubbed as the Heisman winner) sprinting for a sixty-six yard touchdown just two minutes in. Three minutes later, Max Holloway picked up Dayne Crist's first fumble and motored thirty-six yards to the end zone. The second quarter would mold more towards Notre Dame as they would also turn a fumble into a touchdown and add a field goal, bringing the score to 14-10 at halftime.

The third quarter had things get interesting and Eagle fans start to get a little nervous. After a Dayne Crist interception, Montel Harris punched in his second of three scores from ten yards out. Seconds later, Dayne Crist responded with an eleven yard pass of his own to Michael Floyd. As the quarter came to a close, Notre Dame added a field goal, cutting the lead to just one.

It was the fourth quarter however that Boston College absolutely took over. After Dayne Crist fumbled away for the second time, Chase Rettig made them pay with a thirty-one yard strike to Chris Pantale, and the lead was eight. Then, with just 1:51 left on the clock and Boston College in pure clock trimming mode, Montel Harris found daylight in a rain storm as he bolted fifty-five yards for his third touchdown, sealing the victory in the eyes of many. But Crist wouldn't go down without a fight and suddenly, Notre Dame was on the move with little time remaining. With just over fifty seconds remaining, Crist fired a pass to Floyd again, this time, junior AJ Currelley stepped in front of the pass and was gone, seventy-seven yards for the "nail-in-the-coffin" touchdown, capping off a three touchdown quarter.

The win gives the Eagles something to feel proud about on the close of the season. They finish the season 10-4, with two of their losses to undefeated Miami.
