Not gonna lie, that Boise State loss stung. I am probably gonna switch to a 3-3-5 or a 4-2-5 soon, I got completely owned. Of course my personnel aren't suited for the 4-2-5 for long periods, so this year is gonna be rough. My hopes for a NT are gone, I just want to go 9-3 now.

Re: When the Defense Roars: Missouri Tigers Dynasty

Missouri invades Oklahoma for 2nd straight year
The Missouri Tigers have only defeated the Oklahoma Sooners two years in a row twice in history. 1931/1932 and 2010/2011. If the #24 Missouri Tigers (0-1) defeated the #4 Oklahoma Sooners on September 15th, 2012, then it will be historic as it will be the first time the Missouri Tigers have ever had a 3 game winning streak against the historic blue-blooded Sooners.

This game is quickly becoming a fixture of having a top 5 team in the nation involved. This game will have a huge impact on the Big XII's title picture, as Missouri has been tabbed the one team that could upset any of the top teams in the conference and possibly win it all. After the loss to Boise State two weeks ago most people question Missouri's defense, but Oklahoma looks geared towards the run this year, which is DC Johnny Rock's speciality at shutting down.

It should be a good one!

I was saddened when I realized I hadn't gotten it saved before. The week of the upset was very exciting, I debated replaying all those games on weak sliders to ensure that the same results occurred but I decided that was not what should happen so I simply simulated the games again, and didn't get as exciting of a storyline.

Tigers apparently changing to 3-3-5
According to inside sources, DC Johnny Rock has completely revamped the entire Missouri defense. They will now run a new custom playbook that is primarily 3-3-5, with a little 4-2-5, and the 4-3. This is a huge shift from the former strategy the Tigers employed. Sources say Rock is most likely on the hotseat after the Tigers put up 44 points on the Boise State Blue last week and still lost.

Texas A&M announces departure from Big XII, more conference alignment
Texas A&M just announced effective June 1st, 2013 they are leaving the Big XII. The SEC has offered A&M a spot, along with Clemson as #14.

The ACC has fired back by offering West Virginia a spot in the ACC but was declined, so the ACC offered UCF the 12th spot in the ACC and got a commitment.

The Big XII seems shaken to the core. Reportedly offers have been extended to Notre Dame, Arkansas, TCU, BYU, and backup plans of SMU, Rice, Tulsa, and Boise State are on the table. The fact Boise State is at the bottom of the list is no surprise, as only the football team offers real appeal to joining the Big XII. The most likely new members are BYU, SMU, and Rice according to sources, but if the Big XII does not get any of ND, Arkansas, TCU, or BYU then Boise gets an occur is the rumor due to needing a stronger football schedule.

Tigers embarrass Sooners
The #24 Missouri Tigers (0-1) went on the road for their second straight road game against a top 12 opponent. The #4 Oklahoma Sooners were starting their national championship bound season off on the right note, at home against a rival they have never lost 3 games in a row to.

The first quarter was a draw, as neither team did much. Missouri did get down to the red zone but a timely hit by OU put J. Franklin out for a few plays. A. Glasser stepped in and tossed an interception, saving OU from a deficit.

Missouri drove back in the 2nd quarter, taking a 7-0 lead thanks to Franklin's arm. Missouri's next drive resulted in a field goal, and almost immediately after wards Missouri got the ball back when D. Allen tried to thread the needle and D. Washington snagged a beautiful interception. Missouri took advantage and walked into the half up 17-0.

Missouri held course in the 3rd quarter, and walked into the fourth quarter holding a 31-0 lead. Missouri kept putting in their 2nd and 3rd string, and Oklahoma finally got on the board when J. Reynolds caught a 57 yard pass from D. Allan with 0:53 left in the game.
