BALL STATE HIRES NEW OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
The Ball State Cardinals have agreed to a two year contract with new Offensive Coordinator, Willie Lewis. He will not be a recruiter, and has an opt out clause after 1 year. Lewis, a coach at Baltimore High School, led the Bandits to 3 straight State Championships. After being hired, Lewis said, "I am excited to be apart of the Ball State coaching staff. This is a new chapter in my career."
Lewis will help a team coming off a 4-8 record, and an offense that averaged 22 points per game. Lewis' offenses at Baltimore had an average of 45 points per game.
"I'm ready to help this offense out." said Lewis
"MAC Championship here we come."
