Game One:Air Force

The Irish kicked off the 2013 season hosting Air Force as the Irish were coming into the year ranked at number 14 and with expectation of another great season. The Irish fell behind early thanks to a few problems from there starting quarterback. But the Irish fought back making a 21-10 game at the half.

The Irish defense would hold it's ground giving up only three points as the Irish fought back to make a one TD game going into the final quarter. the Irish got lucky as they were able to get that tying score late in the quarter forcing overtime.

The Irish got the ball to start overtime and scored a TD as Tommy Rees found his tightend for the score. Air Force would score on there try forcing a second overtime. Air Force would take the ball on the second overtime and the Irish defense would hold them to no score giving the Irish the chance to win the game. Which the Irish did as Tommy Rees would throw his second TD of the game to Cierre Wood off a screen play for the game winning score.
