It will be tough, Baldwin and Obomanu will be WR1 and WR2 either way. Tate will be the 3rd wideout then 6'5 Durham. But I will have Marshawn run the ground game more and I should know when the Seahawks (3-2) play the Cleveland Browns (1-4) next.

WEEK 7
SEATTLE FAILS TO STOP CLEVELAND COMEBACK Seahawks falters and loses to the Browns, 25-20
Oct. 23, Cleveland OH – Seattle failed to hold the lead in the final quarter, which has been a problem so far this season, and lose 25-20. Cleveland showed off in front of a capacity crowd at the Browns Stadium and scored 2 touchdowns in the final quarter to come back after being down 9-13 at the end of the 3rd quarter. 2 minutes gone in the 4th, Peyton Hillis, who had 122 yards in 22 carries, ran a 1-yarder to the end zone to give the Browns the lead for good. Colt McCoy threw a 25-yard pass to B.J. Alvin for a touchdown after Phil Dawson made good a 42-yard field goal to give Cleveland an insurmountable 25-13 lead with time down to 4 minutes.
Doug Baldwin, who was elevated to the WR1 position with both Sidney Rice and Mike Williams out on injuries, had 122 yards in 5 catches, his last was a long 48-yard pass from Tarvaris Jackson that settled the final count. The Browns defense concentrated their efforts in containing the Seattle ground game and they did just that. The Seahawks ran a dismal 70 yards. Meanwhile, Seattle picked up former Bronco Darcel McBath after placing Atari Digby on injured reserve. Digby tore a pectoral muscle and is out for the season. The Seahawks go back home and will play next the Cincinnati Bengals (3-3) on October 30.

WEEK 8
SEATTLE SLIPS PAST CINCINNATI Seahawks’ field goal nips the Bengals, 28-26
Oct. 30, Seattle WA – The Seattle Seahawks came back home with a capacity crowd at the Qwest Field and the Cincinnati Bengals onslaught. Steven Hauschka kicked a 32-yard field goal with a second left for the victory, 28-26. It was a kicking duel between Hauschka and Shayne Graham. Hauschka put in a total of 22 points in the board including 7 of 8 field goals with the longest at 42 yards. Graham had a longer one at 52 yards on top of 4 field goals but the last kick by Hauschka was the one that counted the most.
Yet, Seattle should better watch out as it was another near collapse in the 4th quarter. The Seahawks led 22-10 going to the final canto. Graham came up another scintillating 50-yard field goal then followed it up with a 36-yarder. Hauschka got one at 41 yards but 3 minutes later Cincinnati running back Cedric Benson found the end zone with a short 4-yarder to give the Bengals a chance to take the lead back. Graham did just that with a PAT, 26-25, with 1:46 left. Tarvaris Jackson, who passed for 393 yards, guided the Seahawks to come within 32 yards and set up Hauschka to salvage victory.
The Seattle Seahawks go back on the road and visit the NFC East leader Dallas Cowboys at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington TX on November 6. Jon Kitna plays the starting quarterback role for the Cowboys after Tony Roma was placed on injured reserve with a compound fracture.

WEEK 9
SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS IN DALLAS Seahawks bow to Cowboys in OT, 23-20
Nov. 6, Dallas TX – The Seattle Seahawks lost out in another close finish as the Dallas Cowboys got what it takes to prevail in overtime, 23-20. Jon Kitna led the Cowboys within 32 yards to set up Joe Nedney for the final count. Kitna was hardly a factor passing for only 161 yards in 35 attempts and no thanks to the Seattle defense. Brandon Mebane sacked the Dallas quarterback back twice and Alan Branch once but Tarvaris Jackson too was hounded all throughout. Jackson passed for 263 yards in 41 tries but was intercepted 4 times and twice by veteran cornerback Frank Walker.
Walker’s second steal came at 8:28 in the 4th quarter and this play sparked a series of unfortunate events, whichever way you put them. Walker returned the interception all the way to the end zone for 79 yards to give Dallas the lead, 10-6. On the return play, Marshawn Lynch broke away for a-75 yard touchdown on 1st down to put the Seahawks in front again, 13-10. Then on kickoff, Demarco Murray returned a jaw-dropping 99 yards to give the lead back to Dallas, 17-13. But it was not to end there, on the next series Leon Washington in his only carry in the game and on 2nd down broke tackle and sprinted 74 yards and score another touchdown. The Seahawks back in the lead, 20-17, but can they hold on with 7:40 left. The Seahawks and the Cowboys were in a tight log jam playing 3 quarters of non-excitement football and finally 4 touchdowns in less than a minute. The Seattle failed to stop the Dallas march and Nedney tied the game at 3:03 eventually sending it to overtime.
Sidney Rice was back in action but was hardly a factor with only 1 catch but Kam Chancellor was with 5 tackles. Rookie Malcolm Smith of USC started as the outside linebacker in lieu of an injured Leroy Hill and David Vobora and made a strong impression with 2 tackles and an interception. The Seahawks go back home to Qwest Field and will play the underachieving Baltimore Ravens (3-5) on November 13.

WEEK 10
SEATTLE NIPS BALTIMORE AT HOME, 14-9 Seahawks edged out the Ravens in a defensive game
Nov. 13, Seattle WA– The Seattle Seahawks played the Baltimore Ravens in its own game and held on in the final quarter to win, 14-9. Though the Ravens came close at the 4th with 2 field goals by Billy Cundiff, Joe Flacco was not able to complement as defense held both quarterbacks to a season low. Flacco passed for 107 yards, was intercepted once by rookie Malcolm Smith and was sacked 5 times by Chris Clemons and Brandon Mebane. Tarvaris Jackson had a lower 106 yards passing but found Sidney Rice early in the game for a 7-yard touchdown to put the Seahawks on the board and for good. It was Rice’s 1st touchdown of the season.
Seattle next plays the NFC West leader St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome in Missouri on November 20 without Doug Baldwin, who will be out for 3 weeks with broken ribs, but listed Mike Williams, who has been sidelined the last 9 weeks, as probable.
