Bio (not required): Shane isn't a highly touted recruit, listed as only a 1 star on rivals. He can only throw the ball around 50 yards but he is very accurate. Shane has always played in an offense that runs the option and he is definately a running QB. A local kid, Shane is a huge West Virginia fan but when the Mountaineers didn't offer he decided to play his college ball at WV Tech. If his problems of laziness and pot smoking can go away, he may become a good player for the Miners.

Bio (not required): Hailing from Thomas Edison High School in Queens, NY, Coley only played two seasons of football as the school did not have a field at first, let alone a team. Despite not being the fastest receiver on the field, Coley had excellent hands and became a favorite target when those completions were needed. The all-time leader at his high school in catches, Coley was passed on by many Division I schools because of his small stature and lack of speed. When he learned of WV Tech's availability at the Division I level, he jumped at the chance. Coley is well-known among his coaches for being a team player and doing the grunt work to help his team win.

WV Tech, WVU Sign Home-Home Deal Through 2018
Miners and Mountaineers will go at it in soon to be In State Rivalry

Fayetteville, WV - Officials from both WV Tech and WVU announced today that the two schools will meet on the gridiron every year from 2012 through 2018. The Miners and the Mountaineers will play each other in a home and home series which fans are dubbing the "Brawl of the Boonies." The athletic department at WV Tech has made clear that they would like to get a traveling trophy rivalry going with the mighty Mountaineers from Morgantown and also expressed how the series should be extended past 2018 if the game becomes an interesting one. However, WVU believes they are far superior to the scrub team called "WV Tech Miners" and aren't sure if the games would even be close. Only time will tell. The first "Brawl of the Boonies" will be played on September 15, 2012 at Miner Stadium on the campus of WV Tech.

Bio (not required): Graduated in Richmond,Virginia. He had many scholarship offers as a junior in high school, due to his size, but tore his ACL his senior year. He also isn't the smartest kid so he could not get into some of the better schools because of his grades. His offers were taken away from him. He comes to WV Tech hoping to get back at all those schools that took away his scholarships.
