Ohio to replace Penn State

Jim Delaney has finalized the revocation of membership status from the Penn State Nittany Lions who find themselves suffering from major sanctions following allegations and Sandusky's trial. Following millions in damages and sizable football regulations, the Nittany Lions will ultimately be completely excluded from B1G.

The Big Ten has finalized the termination notice and Penn State will enter the 2013 season unranked and a FBS independent. There were rumors connecting the program to the MAC, Conference USA, Big East and the ACC but ultimately nothing had surfaced in time for scheduling to be completed and they will spend the season, which will be year one of heavy sanctions as an independent.

Replacing them is the Ohio Bobcats whom following another 10+ season that ultimately ended on a sour note, they would be elated to find letters from the office of Jim Delaney expressing interest and extending an invitation to the Big Ten. "This works out beautifully for us, this allows Ohio State to have another instate rival while further solidfying the Big Ten's stance on holding the elite talent in the Midwest" Spoke Jim Delaney.

"This is an outstanding position for our team to be in, there will be some bumps but I feel as a whole we are ready for this move. The Bobcats will be competing for the Big Ten championship at some point in the near future, I've watched this team grow, we are going to keep growing, I have nothing but the highest regard for this program" Spoke Head Coach Frank Solich.

Re: New Era -|Tyler Koch|- (NCAA 13)

SEC terminates Kentucky and Vanderbilt

One program rising, one on a steep fall, both out of their home element. The Kentucky Wildcats and the Vanderbilt Commodores find themselves in new conferences for the upcoming 2013 season. The Kentucky Wildcats had talks with several conferences, but nothing could solidify and they ended up signing a two year contract with the Mid American conference, a massive fall for a program that had been playing in the best conference in college football.

The Wildcats had talks with the Big Ten to replace Penn State, but Ohio had already agreed to join the Big Ten and with no formal invitation on the table, the Wildcats had to look elsewhere, the Big East which expanded to twelve teams despite losing two more were happy with where they were at effectively closing the door on any hopes that Louisville and Kentucky would be united under a singular conference banner. They than turned to the Big 12 as a Northern option to bring their total closer to twelve, but discussions weren't productive enough with licensing and media deals being at the forefront and with the MAC seeking to replace Ohio, they had a lax offer that allowed Kentucky freedom and a short enough commitment that they could get a chance to get back on their feet and get promoted back to the BCS on a winning program.

The Commodores on the flip side had been on the ride with many praising James Franklin and his job he managed to do in Nashville. The Commodores who have drifted near the lower middle in the SEC for years were finally given the boot, with the only clear option for regional ties to hold intact being the Sunbelt, the Commodores shifted their gaze elsewhere and inked a deal with the reborn Patriot League. The Patriot League which is rising the wake of the collapse of the Western Athletic Conference embraced the squad with open arms to bolster participation and keep the gap in amount of teams between other schools at a minimum. The Commodores should compete for the conference championship from year one with a fairly weak set of teams in the conference, notably the service academies.

Re: New Era -|Tyler Koch|- (NCAA 13)

They were projected at 83rd and had a low 70's recruit class, the game doesn't care for Kentucky football lol
