Re: Coach Wile: A Football Life II (NCAA 06 - PS2)
I'll only end up getting 1-2 4 star players I think. They're in Ohio or close so I think it's pretty reasonable. Off-season is where I'll get the majority of my players, which will be most likely be 3 star or below I would love to get a four star Ohio QB though

Coach's Comments
I'm pleased with the way that we've bounced back from our last two games. We've now concluded out of conference play with a 3-1 record.
Tanner's had another off day today. But when it mattered, he got it done, throwing three fantastic TD passes.
One TD was thrown 20 yards to our offensive captain Stephen Roberts. Stephen created space between himself and his defender, as has been his key all season, and cut upfield 30 yards for the score.
Our captain on the defensive side of the ball had a TD of his own. CB Harry Clark returned a punt 77 yards in for his second such TD of the season, giving us the lead and providing the spark needed for a victory.
I'm proud to announce that for the first time since our opener, we have recorded a redzone scoring percentage of 100%. The team has been ranked in the bottom five in the NCAA in that category for much of the season.
I wish second-string SS Vernon Harris a full and speedy recovery. He broke his collarbone in today's game and it will keep him out the rest of the season. We'll play hard for him in our next game at home versus Buffalo.

After looking at my O-Line's stats and everyone else's O-Line's stats, I've decided to significantly reduce user pass blocking ability.
Chris Herring - 1. Miami University, 2. Michigan, 3. Virginia Tech
Tony Charles - Committed to Penn State
Aaron Hughes - 1. Ohio State, 2. Penn State, 3. Miami University
Daniel Morales - Soft Verbal to Notre Dame, 2. Miami University, 3. Virginia Tech
Down to only three of the season's original top twelve targets, it's looking like a slow recruiting year for the RedHawks. Our highest priority target QB Tony Charles left Ohio behind and committed to PSU after presumably a great visit.
Penn State has also overtaken us with Top 50 FS Aaron Hughes, dropping us to third on his list. DT Daniel Morales remains pledged to Notre Dame for now, but hopefully with a good visit this week he can be swayed. Top 50 ROLB Chris Herring has had us #1 since the start, and we are still neck and neck with his home state Michigan University.
Aaron Hughes, Daniel Morales and Chris Herring are all visiting campus this week for our game versus Buffalo. Truly a must-win.
This is a key game for the Miami University RedHawks. A win today for Miami would make Bowling Green the only possible challenger for the MAC East title. Three 4-star prospects are going to be present for this game as well. Will the added pressure motivate or deter the RedHawks?

Coach's Comments
And so concludes the most dramatic win of our season thus far. Buffalo really gave us a run for our money converting on the few chances we gave them.
There was talk of Tanner Everson cutting classes. They thought the lack of discipline was translating to being good, but not being great on the field. Boy, did he turn around and show them wrong with an oustanding performance this game, throwing zero picks while eclipsing 3000 yards on the season.
The offensive line had one of it's worst games of the season, though it hardly seemed to affect their QB. RT Jason Hurst allowed two of the eight sacks against our team.
TE Corey Harrison had a great game today. It seems his discipline problems are behind him after being suspended a total of three games this season. His five catches really helped the team.
Can't say enough about the team's performance in the final three minutes of the game. After the offense failed to convert in the redzone on fourth down, the defense stood strong and quickly got the ball back to them. Tanner executed a great drive and eventually found his TE for the game-winning TD. Bowling Green is two weeks away the winner of that game should win the MAC East title. Should prove to be another dramatic game.

Jeremiah Wile gets his first official recruits as a Divison 1-A head football coach. Chris Herring should come in and replace Kelvin Holt as our starting ROLB, and Kelvin's are big shoes to fill. But I have a great feeling about this kid and I think he is up to the task. Daniel Morales will join three other underclassmen at DT next year. I'm definitely expecting him to start, either alongside another incoming freshman or joining one of our two returning DTs. I'm glad we got Chris and I'm really surprised we stole Daniel from Notre Dame. That's what happens when the team comes up clutch with recruits watching on the sidelines!
