OREGON SURVIVES SCARE, WINS 16-14

Ducks opened the season #4, Came out alil slow on Offense which is rare, They are using a new starting QB and no more LaMichael James...

Arkansas State is no pushover, they use a hurry up offense at times to and spread it out, The Ducks had a better 2nd half on offense, As their offense started to pick it up, Up next for Oregon is a home game against the Fresno St Bulldogs.

In my Michigan dynasty, Oregon got upset by Arkansas State AND Fresno State. Good job not letting the upset happen!

Thanks, Im kinda doing something alil different Some may think its confusing,

What i do is ill play 2 plays, well actually coach them, and then simulate 2 plays, regardless of who has the ball, its always 2 play 2 sim, as for Special Teams, I simulate the punt and kick returns cause when i play them i never get good return yards, when watching, So i figure let the sim do it and there will be more chances for longer returns,

when it comes to the field goals, or PAT's if the previous play was simmed, then the kick will be simmed, if the last play on O or D was played, then the extra point or FG will be played, I know seems different but i wanted to try to mix together the simulation world and play world in one game... I wish the basketball games would let u do that....

Ya i had no idea what my O was doing... i wasnt sure if the sliders were not set good, cause both teams were having a hard time running the ball, so i up
d the block and running ability alil after half and they started doing alil better on both sides.. There was a few lil errors i noticed, like on a speed option my QB kept it which is fine.. but then after he gained like 3 yards he pitched it back to the RB who was 5 yards behind him... i was like wtf...

And then at times i seen a defender just standing there as the ball carrier run past him, I was like ok thats dumb... but all in all got the W, next Fresno State, these guys may not spread it out and hurry it up... so we will see...

I may start Marcus at QB since he is now the Ducks actual starter...

Ducks get past Fresno St, But Offense still questionable

Fresno St knew what Oregon was going to do and they set their sights on stopping Oregons running game, And for the most part they did, Sophomore RB/WR DeAnthony Thomas hasnt gotten off to the best start this season, Today wast any better, He was held to 8 yards on 6 rushes, Barner carries the load with 28 rushes, Coach Henry would like to mix it up alil more...

Oregon has one more game against a non conference team before conference play begins, Freshman Marcus Mariota got the start and played well, 19/31 201 yards and also had 35 yards on 10 carries.. Oregon plays home next against Middle Tennessee State. Oregon moved up to #3 after LSU lost to Washington 35-9.
