Will Ashton sits at a small table in the gym of Asbury Park High School surrounded by his former coaches and friends. Two hats sit on the table, one of the Tigers of LSU and a Syracuse Orange hat. The room quickly quiets and all eyes focus on him.

Ashton Thank you all for coming tonight. I really wanted to thank my parents for really being here for me, Coach Lewis for all of his advice, and my friends for helping remind me what's important. I had no idea where I wanted to go until I woke up this morning. There were so many good opportunities afforded to me because of football. I want to play at a school with a lot of history, and more importantly, one with great academics.

Will pauses and quickly takes a sip of water, looking around the gym.

Ashton With all that being said, I felt a calm when I woke up this morning, and I knew where I was going. This morning I informed Coach Miles I'd be enrolling in classes for the spring semester at LSU so that I could go through spring practice and get a jump on the playbook. GEAUX TIGERS!
