Game Notes
A severely weakened Kansas City Chiefs side are in Indianapolis to face the Colts in week 4 of the 2011 NFL Season. The Chiefs face a selection crisis on their offensive line as both primary left offensive tackles Jeff Allen and Branden Albert are ruled out through injury. They are also missing right offensive tackle Eric Winston and center Casey Wiegmann. Brady Quinn will continue to deputize at Quarterback in place of Matt Cassel. As for the Colts they are nearly at full strength only missing wide receiver Austin Collie who will be replaced in the starting position by Quan Cosby.

In a game that lacked excitement, the Indianapolis Colts beat a team without reply for the second consecutive week. The Colts' defense was as strong as ever with another solid peformance. The Chiefs struggled offensively due to a weakened offensive line.
Kansas City Chiefs Key players
Jamaal Charles: Despite only making 34 yards in his 10 rushes, Charles was a bright spark in the Chiefs' poor offense. He made a fumble that was recovered which was his only mistake of the game. A good performance from the Running Back.
Stanford Routt: A solid performance from Kansas City's backup corner, Routt hit 3 solo tackles (the most of his team) in the game. He also deflected 2 passes from Andrew Luck but he failed to intercept. Routt put forward a claim to his team and teams around the league that he can be a starter based on his performance today.
Indianapolis Colts key players:
Dwight Freeney: Gatorade's performer of the game, Freeney hit two tackles in the game that went for a loss. One of those tackles was a sack on Brady Quinn. Freeney's sack on Brady Quinn also forced a fumble in one of the hardest hits seen so far in the 2011 NFL Season.
Donald Brown: Brown is could quite possibly be one of the best running backs in the league very soon based on his performances so far this season. Brown recorded a touchdown today adding to his 54 yards in 12 carries. He broke up a tackle in a great performance from the man signed to replace Super Bowl winner Joseph Addai.
