Controversial Colts
Week Nine, 2013
Nashville TN

FINAL SCORE: IND 24, TEN 17

Tied at 17-17 late in the fourth quarter, the Titans were moving down the field with the intent to take the lead. However, on a 2nd and six, Jake Locker dropped back with the intention of hitting Kenny Britt for a first down. The ball was tipped in the air and a diving Cary Williams of Indianapolis pulled the ball right at the ground. Officials ruled it an interception and after review, was confirmed. (GAMER'S NOTE: The game wouldn't allow me to challenge the play. On the replay, you see the ball bounce off the turf. So upset.) Andrew Luck took over and marched down the field, throwing his second Seth Stephenson touchdown toss and the Colts took a 24-17 lead. Jake Locker would have one more chance, but on a 4th and ten, Tom Zbikowski picked off Locker to end the game.

Re: The Music City Miracle is Back (Madden 13)

Around The League
2013 Season - Through Nine Weeks

Best Team | San Francisco 49ers | 7-1 | With the best record in the league, the 49ers have reeled off seven straight after losing their season opener.

Worst Team | Miami Dolphins | 0-8 | The Dolphins were a disappointing team in 2012 and not much has changed through the first half of 2013. First overall pick, linebacker Adrian Davis, has recorded just fourteen tackles so far.

Biggest Surprise | San Francisco 49ers & Tennessee Titans | Two teams combined for eleven wins in 2012 have already totaled thirteen through eight games each.

Biggest Disappointment | Houston Texans | 1-7 | At 8-8 last year, Houston had high expectations despite losing Matt Schaub to free agency. Unfortunately, the David Garrard experiment didn't pay off. Garrard has thrown eighteen interceptions to just three touchdowns.

I have the day off today (I love Federal Holidays) so I should be able to get a game or two in this morning/afternoon.

Re: The Music City Miracle is Back (Madden 13)

Sneaking Away With a Victory
Week Ten, 2013
Charlotte NC

FINAL SCORE: TEN 17, CAR 14

Cam Newton started the game 9/9 for 89 yards through the third quarter. The Panthers were holding on to a slim lead, 6-3, and the Titans were finally starting to get their offense rolling. On the first play of the fourth quarter, Jake Locker threw a fourteen yard touchdown to Kenny Britt and the Titans took a 10-6 lead. It was then that Cam Newton began to fall apart. In his next two drives, Newton would get sacked seven times and struggle to muster any kind of drive. On the Titans next possession, they worked the clock and LeGarrette Blount punched in the ball from three yards out with 2:30 left in the game and Tennessee had a comfortable 17-6 lead. Newton would respond, including a huge conversion on 4th-and-24 to Steve Smith and the Panthers would score a touchdown with a mere thirty-three seconds left with a 1-yard toss to former Titan Nate Washington. A good two-point conversion cut the lead to three. However, after a failed onside kick, the Titans ran out the clock for their seventh win of 2013.
