Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
Why so many Interceptions? Patriots win despite throwing 4 picks PATRIOTS 49 - Dolphins 9
Miami, FL - Ya, big deal...the Patriots beat down on yet another horrible team. Three of their 6 wins are against the Jets and Dolphins. That doesn't excuse Chad Sapozink for throwing 4 interceptions. Who cares if he threw 3 TDs?! His 4 INTs wipe those off the board. Well that ends my rant...
Now onto the good points. The Patriots run game is fairly unstoppable. Ridley ran for another 100 yards and this time it was Brandon Bolden who put 2 TDs in the paint. The Patriots owe this run game to the offensive line and in particular it's newest TE Kip Wary. Kip is a clone of Gronk, but is so much better at blocking than he is. The two TE sets are scary and they can chew up many yards out of that no matter who's in the backfield.
Wes Welker finally showed up. Caught 6 passes and two for TDs (also dropped a 3rd). Brandon Lloyd caught the same and almost ran one for a TD but Sapozink underthrew him and he had to come back to the ball.
Defense shows why they're #1 in the league. Held Miami under 200 yards (not hard to do) and produced 3 fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. McCourty took one of those to the house for 6. Chandler Jones picked up his 8th sack and is dominating the league in that category.
Special teams seem to get forgotten in most games, but not today. Brailsford was the man on the punt returns and placing the Patriots in great field position and Mr. LSH himself took a kickoff back for a six-pack.
Overall the game was a blowout and every aspect of the Patriots looked good except for the QB. Can't get this rookie to stop throwing to the other team. Can't wait until Mallett's suspension is over so we can see if he can do better.
See you guys next week....another loser team in the Jets. Should be a boring blowout again.
3 TDs for C. Sapozink - Chad Sapozink could not be stopped in the Patriots' 49-9 win over the Dolphins.
@mortreportEA - 3 TDs for Chad Sapozink in the Patriots win.
C. Hampton Out for Weeks - The Patriots are hoping that the injury to Casey Hampton will only leave him sidelined for a couple of games.
@RossTuckerEA - Seems like every player gets dinged up in an NFL season, so Casey Hampton needs to just get through this.
Nothing to be Said - There have been plenty of classic matchups between Miami and New England. This was not one of those games.
@SCollinsEA - Hope none of the Miami players have to look their fans directly in the eye this week. Would be torture!
Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
FYI - I had to decrease the CPU interception slider and increase my own a bit. I also moved some of the CPU offensive sliders up a bit as well. Don't know what's happening in year 2, but it's getting crazy easy on Defense. Hope all thise hasn't ruined your reading experience....when Mallett gets back, we're gonna have some good storylines again.
