Dolphins Sign Harris

Miami, FL. -- Today the Dolphins announced the signing of former Miami Northwestern High School and University of Miami quarterback Jacory Harris. Due to team policies, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With the signing of Harris, the Dolphins currently have 4 QB's on the roster. Ryan Tannehill, Matt Moore, Pat Devlin, and Harris.

Rumors have been circulating that Moore is unhappy being the #2 quarterback and has asked the team for a trade. When asked about the situation Moore said, "No comment."

Harris Throws Game Winning TD

Miami, FL. -- The Joe Philbin era got off to a good start Friday night as the Miami Dolphins defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-22.

"The whole team played well tonight, said Coach Philbin. From the 1st stringers all the way down to the 3rd and 4th stringers." Rookie Ryan Tannehill played the whole 1st quarter and threw a 85 yard touchdown to Antony Armstrong. "I was nervous leading up to the game but once i got on the field i was alright" said Tannehill who finished 4-5 for 100 yards and 1 touchdown.

But the night belonged to the hometown kid Jacory Harris. Harris signed with the Dolphins after going undrafted in April. Harris played the whole fourth quarter and finished with a impressive stat line of 13-18 passing for 122 yards, 1 td, and 1 int. the one touchdown was a 1 yard toss to TE Anthony Fasano after a well executed 2 minute drill.

Fellow rookie and former Miami Hurricane Lamar Miller finished with 108 yards rushing on 19 attempts.
