Re: Run This Town - Baltimore Ravens Dynasty (M13)
Ravens Make it 3 'W's over Pittsburgh; Advance to the Super Bowl!
How fitting. How absolutely fitting it was to have Pittsburgh come to Baltimore to play for the AFC Championship. They say it's nearly impossible to beat the same team in a single season, but on this day the Ravens showed the word "nearly" is used. They were on fire both offensively and defensively. Two early touchdown strikes propelled this team for the entire game and had the crowd on their feet and in full throat all day long! Their Baltimore Ravens are going back to the Super Bowl!
The offense looked it's absolute best! 3 touchdown strikes by Flacco and 150+ yards on the ground for Rice combined to make short work of their AFC North rivals. Jacoby Jones' two touchdown grabs we're like fine works of art. Both of them were long, deep field connections that Flacco laid out there beautifully and Jones was right there to bring them in. It was perfection.
On defense, Ed Reed made what was possibly the one play that put the momentum squarely on Baltimore's shoulders. Just look at this play, this was Pittsburgh's second drive of the game, still in the first quarter. Look at what Ed Reed does here:
An INCREDIBLE one-handed interception to stop the Steelers dead in their tracks! Add a play like that on top of four team sacks and you have one stellar all-around defensive performance.

Re: Run This Town - Baltimore Ravens Dynasty (M13)
SUPER BOWL XLVII
Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. Children of all ages.
It has come down to this.
The football season is almost over. There is but one game left to play.
The Super Bowl
Each year, all 32 NFL teams fight and claw and struggle to get to this one game. This one moment to go out there and show the world who you are! The final two teams have arrived.
Two teams will walk in, and only one will prevail as the undisputed champions!
It's the Baltimore Ravens and their record setting running back VS the New Orleans Saints and their interim head coach.
Baltimore will not only have to face the pressure of being in the Super Bowl, but also compete with the fact that they are facing the Saints in the Super Bowl... in New Orleans!
It almost seems as if Baltimore would need a miracle to win this. I don't think the Ravens would want it any other way.

Super Bowl Season Ends in Heartbreak
It was an excellent season, but in the end it just wasn't meant to be.
Baltimore came into the Super Bowl needing to not only battle the Saints, but also the Saints' hometown crowd. They fought their hearts out, they sweat, they bled, but ultimately it wasn't enough.
It started to look hopeless towards the end, with New Orleans holding a 14 point lead with just under 3:30 to play. Then, a miracle drive would come out of nowhere and the Ravens closed the cap to just 7. Then, the failed onside kick seemed to all but wrap this one up. The defense held strong, however, and forced the Saints to attempt a FG. Hartley put his leg into it, and it pulled wide left! Could this be happening? Could the Ravens really have another chance to score, to tie the game?
On the very next play after New Orleans' missed FG, Joe Flacco heaved one downfield for Jacoby Jones, who made the catch in stride and ran it in for the TD! Baltimore tied the game with just a minute to go! That minute would prove to be too much time, though. For just a split second, however, it looked like we might go to overtime, but Drew Brees connected on a deep pass to Devery Henderson. Then, the field goal unit came on the field and the clock struck 0:00 as soon as Hartley's kick split the uprights. The game was over. Baltimore had come so far, and now it was all over.
The team left the locker room, some with the heads hanging in defeat. Others with theirs held high, proud of what they accomplished this year and looking forward to the next one.
So, that's it. The 2012-2013 NFL season is in the books and the New Orleans Saints are your Super Bowl Champions.

Same sentiment here. Sucks losing in the SB, but try to analyze why you lost the SB, where your weaknesses are, and start from there. You'll absolutely need to get an MLB.
