Bucs Win Again, Close To Divison Title

The Bucs won again vs the Raiders this Sunday. This 37-24 win marks their 6th straight win, and they are very close to a division title. Freeman had one of his best games of the season, and had 3 touchdowns.

When the Bucs enter Oakland, they knew it was going to be a difficult game to win. Josh Freeman stepped up his play going 22 for 28 with 308 yards and 3 touchdowns. Coach Rudd said "Freeman was ready to become a leader before the game began. I could set it in his eyes". Carson Palmer didn't play too bad for the Raiders going 15 for 27 with 311 yards and 3 touchdowns. He did however made one costly mistake, a interception leading to a Aqib Talib pick 6.

Doug Martin had another good game rushing for 93 yards on 20 carries. Martin now has a solid chance at winning offensive rookie of the year. He leads all NFL rookie in every important rushing stat. Darren McFadden couldn't really find his touch, only gaining 48 yards on 16 carries. The Buc's defense time and time again stepped up and played another great game for the Bucs.

Chargers Win A Weird Game In Tampa

When the Chargers got ready to play the Bucs, no one expected any rain in the forcast. However, 5 mintues before kickoff rain loomed. It changed to whole game, and this was the Buc's worst performance of the season.

Doug Martin had a solid game, rushing for 125 yards on 18 carries with a touchdown. This is getting more and more typical as "Muscle Hamster" is getting closer to the offensive ROY. On the other side, the Chargers had a hard time running the ball. Ryan Matthews only had 15 yards on 10 carries, and Ronald Brown 28 yards on 11 carries.

Josh Freeman hasn't had to do too much this season. He has played pretty consistent this whole season, but with the rain it made the passing offense hard to give effort to. Freeman was just 13/24 with 104 yards on 2 interceptions. The lowest passing yards he ever has had in his career. Rivers didn't do too much better with 4 interceptions, but as 17/30 with 184 yards and a touchdown also. It's going to be interesting to see if Freeman can bounce back from his bad game.

Score - Chargers 16 (6-3) Buccaneers 13 (7-2)
Stats -
Passing -
Phillip Rivers 17/30 184 yards 1 TD 4 INTs

Josh Freeman 13/24 104 yards 0 TDs 2 INTs
Rushiing -
Ryan Matthews 10 carries 15 yards
Ronald Brown 11 carries 28 yards
Phillip Rivers 3 carries 4 yards

Doug Martin 18 carries 125 yards 1 TD
LeGarette Blount 3 carries 10 yards
Receiving -
Antonio Gates 4 receptions 35 yards 1 TD
Eddie Royal 3 receptions 59 yards
Robert Meachem 4 receptions 55 yards

Coby Fleener 4 receptions 41 yards
Vincent Jackson 3 receptions 23 yards
Plaxico Burress 2 receptions 17 yards
Defense -
Eric Weddel 9 tackles 2 INTs
Takeo Spikes 6 tackles 1 TFL
Melvin Bullit 5 tackles

Mason Foster 11 tackles 1 TFL
Michael Bennett 9 tackles 4 TFL

Buccaneers Destroy The Panthers With Another Doug Martin Big Day

Entering the game, Josh Rudd came off a very difficult loss vs the Chargers. He had to bounce back versus a Panthers team that still had some life at 5-4, and boy did he ever!

Doug Martin…… this guy has simply been a beast the whole year. He's almost a lock for offensive rookie of the year now. Well, he had another big day vs the Panthers. He had 185 yards on 27 carries with a touchdown. His counterpart, DeAngelo Williams only had 10 carries for 20 yards. With this game, Martin has now hit the golden 1,000 yards rushing mark. He can only get better in the future.

Josh Freeman also had a good game. Coming off one of the worst games of his career, he went 15 for 26 with 224 yard and a touchdown. He had a very good bounce-back game. Rudd said "That's all we need Freeman to do. He needs to just hang in there". Cam Newton didn't have too bad of a game, going 18 for 29 with 187 yards and touchdown. Freeman's number one receiver had a pretty good game with 5 receptions and 110 yards with a touchdown. The Bucs came out and just turned the script after their loss to the Chargers.

Score - Buccanners 34 (8-2) Panthers 13 (5-5)
Stats -
Passing -
Josh Freeman 15/26 224 yards 1 TD

Cam Newton 18/29 187 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Rushing -
Doug Martin 27 Carries 185 yards 1 TD
Josh Freeman 5 carries 28 yards 1 TD
LeGarrette Blount 7 carries 24 yards 1 TD

Cam Newton 7 carries 63 yards
DeAngelo Williams 10 carries 20 yards
Receiving -
Vincent Jackson 5 receptions 110 yards 1 TD
Coby Fleener 3 receptions 35 yards
Plaxico Burress 3 receptions 49 yards

Re: Bringing The Buccaneers Back to Fame, a Madden 13 Franchise

Buccaneers Give The Falcons Nightmares On Thanksgiving

This was the first time the Buccaneers played Falcons in the 2012 seasons, and it was up and very high stakes. If the Falcons won they where only one game out of first, and if the Buccaneers won they had a three game lead, and they would have easy cruising. The Buccaneers would go on to rout the Falcons 29-0 on Thanksgiving.

The Buccaneers motto this year has been play good defense and get the ball to Doug Martin. They played their typical style of football. Doug Martin had 122 yards on 27 carries, and the defense didn't even allow a point. The defense was so good, they forced 4 turnover (all Matt Ryan interceptions). They simply where all over Matt Ryan on every passing play. If this defense keeps up their play, they could be very dangerous.

While the storyline for the offense this year for the Buccaneers has been Doug Martin, Josh Freeman hasn't gotten too much publicity. The Buccaneers developed a game plan around Martin and Fleener to make sure Freeman doesn't have to throw it 40+ times every game like last season. I would say that it's working so far this season, and to combine it with this defense, this team could be a top tier team. On the other side, the Falcons played their worst game of the season. Ryan was 10 for 20 with 104 yards and 4 interceptions. A mediocre game to say the least. Now the Falcons have to really dig deep if they want to win a division, that the Buccaneers have been in full control most of the season.

Score - Buccaneers 29 (9-2) Falcons 0 (6-5)
Stats -
Passing -
Josh Freeman 1925 200 yards 1 TD
Matt Ryan 9/20 104 yards 0 TD 4 INT
Rushing -
Doug Martin 27 carries 122 yards
Jacob Hester 4 carries 12 yards
LeGarrette Blount 5 carries 10 yards

Michael turner 11 carries 22 yards
Matt Ryan 2 carries 5 yards
Receiving -
Doug Martin 6 receptions 71 yards
Coby Fleener 6 receptions 50 yards 1 TD
Mike Williams 3 receptions 54 yards

Roddy White 6 receptions 56 yards
Tony Gonzalez 1 reception 11 yards
Julio Jones 1 reception 21 yards
Defense -
Lavonte David 10 tackles
Mason Foster 10 tackles 2 TFL
Gerald McCoy 5 tackles 4 TFL 2 sacks

Sean Witherspoon 13 tackles
Stephen Nicholas 7 tackles
John Abrahams 7 tackles 1 TFL 1 sack

Buccaneers Get Stunned In Denver

The Buccaneers came in with almost everything under controll. What was to worry about? They where a 9-2 team, that was going to play a losy 2-9 team that was last in defense. The Buccaneers didn't play too bad in the game, but once Martin had to leave the game, they where never the same.

Most people don't know what's wrong with the Broncos. After the big FA signing in Peyton Manning, the Broncos where suppose to be one of the best teams in football. They have lost 6 of their 9 games by 7 or less points. The main reason they have been losing though, is because their defense is dead last in the NFL. Anyways their offense wasn't too bad today, as Peyton was 20 for 40 with 296 yards and 3 touchdowns. No too bad, but the 4 interceptions thrown by him didn't help. He did however lead the team in their two minute drill to win the game. With 1 minute and 21 seconds left, Manning threw a dart to Eric Decker for a easy 12 yard touchdown pass. It's very good to see Peyton still leading the charge for a team that doesn't have much hope. Even though the team hasn't been playing too good, they still beat a very good Buccaneers team.

The big story of the day was the injury to promising rookie running back Doug Martin. He had a abdominal strain late in the 3rd quarter and couldn't come back into the game. He had 108 yards on 20 carries before he left the game. The good news for the team is that he will practice will the team on Tuesday, and will be cleared to play. The not so good news is that, Right Guard Davin Joseph has tore a ACL and is out for the year. No one is really sure how he did this, but he left the game in the 1st quarter. They where leading the whole game however, until Manning lead his team for a score with 1 minute and 21 seconds left. Josh Freeman didn't do a bad job in his part of the 2 minute drill, but with 13 seconds left he lobbed a pass to Fleener in the end zone, and it was picked to end the game. Freeman didn't have too bad of a game, going 18 of 31 for 2 touchdowns. Fleener also had a pretty good game with 4 receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.

Score - Buccaneers 20 (9-3) Broncos 24 (3-9)
Passing -
osh Freeman 18/31 2 TDs 1 INT

Peyton Manning 16/40 296 yards 3 TDs 4 INTs
Rushing -

LeGarrette Blount 7 carries 14 yards
Jacob Hester 4 carries 14 yards

Willis Mcgahee 13 carries 47 yards
Knowshon Moreno 1 carry 7 yards
Receiving -
Coby Fleener 4 receptions 64 yards 1 TD
Mike Williams 4 receptions 50 yards
Vicent JAckson 4 receptions 42 yards

Re: Bringing The Buccaneers Back to Fame, a Madden 13 Franchise

Buccaneers Dominate The Eagles At Home, Earn A Huge Win

The stakes where set pretty high before the Buccaneers, Eagles game. If the Bucs could pull of a win versus the 8-5 Eagles and the Falcons lost, they would clinch the division. The Falcons did end up winning in over time, but the Buccaneers dominated the game from start to finish and beat the Eagles 24 to 3.

Doug Martin has been a one man wrecking crew in the back field for the Buccaneers this year. The first round pick was the starter in training camp, but wasn't going to be the "full time back". Well, he has proved everyone wrong this season, and he added another 100 yard rushing game to his total. Martin has over 1000 yards rushing, and is almost a sure lock for rookie of the year. He rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries versus the Eagles. On the second play from scrimmage of the game, he broke a 55 yard touchdown, and the Buccaneers never lost momentum from that play. Coach Rudd said after the game "Martin's run gave us so much momentum I forgot we still had a game to play. He's going to play big for us in the future. We're expecting big things from him."

The Buccaneers defense has been solid the whole season. They are ranked 2nd in the league in overall defense, and Aqib Talib is 1 interception away from the most interceptions in a season. Talib didn't break the record, yet, but the defense did play outstanding. They held Michael Vick to 164 yards with 16 completions on 28 attempts. They also held running back LeSean McCoy in check. He only had 75 yards on 19 carries. Not too bad for a running back that is averaging 91 yards per game. The defense has just played outstanding this year, and hopefully they can bring the team together to make a deep playoff run.

Score - Eagles 3 (8-6) Buccanners 24 (10-3)
Passing -
Mike Vick 16/28 164 yards 0 TDs 1 INT

Josh Freeman 13/19 142 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Rushing -
LeSean McCoy 19 carries 75 yards
Mike Vick 3 carries 34 yards
Jeremy Maclin 1 carry 8 yards

Doug Martin 24 carries 145 yards 1 TD
LeGarrette Blount 2 carries 13 yards
Josh Cribbs 3 carries 12 yards
Receiving-
Jeremy Maclin 4 receptions 50 yards
Brent Celek 4 receptions 45 yards
LeSean McCoy 4 receptions 34 yards

Coby Fleener 5 receptions 45 yards
Vincent Jackson 2 receptions 28 yards
Doug Martin 2 receptions 27 yards 1 TD
Defense -
DeMeco Ryans 10 tackles 1 TFL 1 INT
Nate Allen 7 tackles 1 TFL
Kurt Coleman 7 tackles

Mark Barron 8 tackles
Da’Quan Bowers 6 tackles 5 TFL 4 sacks
Mason Foster 6 tackles
