SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The renewed "I-35" rivalry versus Texas State and UTSA saw the Bobcats victorious on Saturday in a sloppy 14-9 game. A total of six turnovers (five for Texas State) and a defense dominated second half were the story of the day.
"This was not a game to write home to mom about" said HC Franchione after the game. "Still....a win is a win".
With the 2012-13 season coming to a close, at least the Bobcats will be able to take a victory over their rivals.
The Bobcats (5-6) look to close out the regular season against New Mexico State (3-8) next Saturday (12/1) at 3:30pm. The game will be televised nationally.
