This will be a Dynasty overlook of the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves. I have replaced Idaho with Alaska since they are likely to lose FBS status soon, and Alaska enters the FBS as an Independent school. All games in this dynasty will be simulated, I will only be controlling recruiting for the Seawolves. The first few seasons are sure to be ugly, but with hopes I can turn this school into one of the premier college programs. All school records and achievements will be located in the first post here.
Well, it's Week 5 now and the Seawolves have had an incredible start to the season! Nobody really expected us to do well our first few years in the FBS, but we sit at 2-2 heading into our Week 5 bye. On the recruiting side, Alaska has obtained 2 commits, a 3 star WR from Shaker Heights, Ohio and a 1 star DT from Everett, WA. Both prospects will certainly see the field in the future. The Seawolves are also chasing a QB prospect from Heber, UT that we believe could be our QB for the next 4 years.

NCAA Football Rankings - Coaches Poll - Updated: Jan 1,
8 weeks of the season have passed and Alaska sits at 3-4. A respectable record for our first season in the FBS thus far. So far, our biggest success of the season is coming through recruiting. We hold the #15 ranked recruiting class in the country thus far with commits from 5 3-stars, 3 2-stars, and 1 1-star. However, now that we've already filled our recruiting needs, we will most likely not bring in many more prospects leading to a fall in the recruiting ranks.

In my opinion, our first year in the FBS was a huge success. I also realized I never posted a team roster! Sorry, guys! I'll be putting one up for the next season for sure. Anyways, we finished the season 6-6, I'm not counting on a bowl game, and don't think we deserve to go to one either. Our biggest win of the season was a 28-21 win over Washington at home here in Alaska. There will be more in the full season recap.

All in all, we had a pretty good inaugural season into the FBS. We beat 2 other FBS schools, and were close with 1 other. We have a promising recruiting class coming in, including our QB for the foreseeable future. We did not receive an invitation to join any conference, but it's just our first year. Our ultimate goal is to become a National Championship Contender from the Pac-12. We had no All-Americans named this season, but hopefully that will change next season.
Outside of Alaska Alabama was able to repeat as national champions, despite an early season loss. Meanwhile, the Big East is in jeoperdy of losing their AQ status after an embarrassing showing in Bowl games.

There's little to no arguement as to which conference was the best this season. The SEC ends the season holding the top 3 spots in the rankings. Even the MAC made an appearence in the Top 5 with an impressive Toledo team, while the Big East was completely left out.
