Huge Changes In Dallas!!!

Yet another complete U-turn in direction for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones today. In a surprise press conference Jerry Jones announced that after much deliberation the team was going to part ways with head coach Jason Garrett, after two seasons with the team going 5-3, and 8-8 with no playoff births.

When asked about the future direction of the Cowboys, Jerry Jones said he would announce the teams plans in a press conference tomorrow after "the deals are done.".

What does the future hold for the Cowboys? Will the new regime be able to bring back that long forgotten Cowboy luster? Only time will tell, stayed tuned.

Even Bigger Changes In Dallas!!

Jerry Jones has shocked the football world yet again today. Just after firing head coach Jason Garrett, and announcing to the world that HE would be the final say so on all players. Jones has introduced Mike Singletary as both the Cowboys head coach and GM.

When asked what the future would hold for the Cowboys, Singletary would only say one thing.

I think its safe to say that win or lose we're going to see some smashmouth football from the Cowboys this year.

WEEK 1 IS FINALLY HERE!!

With week one finally hear its judgement time for the Cowboys newly appointed HC/GM Mike Singletary. Can he turn this sinking ship around? Will the players respond to his tuff mustache style, or will they sink and mope without the get away with anything coaches they have gotten use to?

No one knows the answers to these questions, however what we do know is we are ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

FIRST GAME OUT ENDS IN LOSS FOR SINGLETARY,COWBOYS.


Mike Singletary reaction to the question"can your team make it to the super bowl?".

Even though the Cowboys couldn't pull off the upset in New York on Sunday, there were still good things to take from it if your a Dallas fan. The run game was working great with the duo of DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones getting some nice runs off.

Also besides the interceptions Tony Romo had a nice day passing the ball. The defense while fairly impressive in the first half, was just a total let down in the second half. Here's a few questions and answers from Mike Singletary's post game report.

Q: What do you think your team needs to work on most this week?

A: Well I really liked what I saw on offense the entire game. I also really liked what I saw on defense this game in the first half. I think we're going to work on conditioning and staying focused in the latter half of games.

Q: Do you think you can make it to the playoffs with a frequent int QB?

A: Listen I don't want to hear this talk all year so here's the deal. Tony's are QB and he's going to be our QB. If we thought for a second we couldn't get it done with Tony under center then believe me we would already have made some moves.

Q: What do you think about your matchup with Seattle next week?

A: Uhh their a good team up there, I think their really going to surprise some people this year in the West. No doubt about it, you combine a good team and that crazy atmosphere up there and its probably the hardest road win in the game.
