Tech Wins Big VS Kansas-

On this cold rainy day nothing could stop Doege and Bell. Doege through for over 65% and racking up 379 yards and 3 touchdowns. Bell on the other hand had 5 receptions 179 yards and 2 touchdowns. Season total for yards is 1290 and 14 touchdowns. Doege has 2274 yards, 20 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

Things did not start out well for Texas Tech. On the first play Doege gets sacked and fumbles the ball. Defensive tackle Ty McKinney scooped up the ball and ran back 26 yards for the touchdown. Tech would go scoreless in the first quarter.

That all ended though in the 2nd quarter. By scoring 28 of their total 38 point in that quarter alone. When question Charlie Weis on what went wrong he responded back "Our defense did not execute well this game. We need turnovers plain and simple. We did not get enough of them."

Dayne Crist was having issues all game, 1/2 of his passes were completely off. It seemed like he just wanted to get rid of the ball. Kansas sits right now at 6-4 and still has a chance to get to a decent bowl game. Texas Tech is now 7-3 and sits #20 overall and 4th in the Big 12.
