I think we`re going to carry only two quarterbacks because I anticipate we`re going to need to keep depth players at other positions.

I think a number of teams do it in the regular season. I know the Pats did it regularly with Brady and Hoyer, for example. I remember reading how they were in a relative minority, but a good number of teams did the 2 QB thing.

I agree, it's sorta like playing with fire, although these teams usually compensate by having a QB on their practice squad

You use your own sliders? If I may,If you haven't tried Jarrods sliders. I can vouch for them. ANother guy who has great sliders was playmakers but he was banned from here. I do believe though someone posted them in the sliders thread.
