Madden 12 Fantasy Draft CPU Controlled

Just for fun, I am going to start up a fantasy draft for Madden 12 using the final updated rosters. Everything is going to be computer controlled and simulated.

I will report on any information I find interesting or important. If you want me to keep track of something, let me know. What I have in mind are the obvious things: MVP and other big awards; who played in the Championship games and Super Bowl winners; Retirements of big name players; League leaders; Top draft picks... that sort of thing.

The Madden simulation engine is a bit of a joke, so this is for casual fun. Good to see what kind of craziness this game will give us. Also a fun way to take a look at the hand crafted rookies, and so on.

I will control all 32 teams so I have access to more information, such as potential grades.

I wanted to mark who was on a hot streak going into the game. These are players the media would be talking about other than the starters. Nobody was on a cold streak.

Game Summary
Chicago scores first with a 75 yard run by Steven Jackson to open the game with 14:52 remaining.

The Bears score again when Eli manning hits N.Washington for an 11 yard TD.

Houston gets on the board with 1:41 remaining in the first with a 59 yard C. J. Spiller run.

In the 2nd quarter the Bears add to their lead as Devin Hester [still a bear] catches a 14 yard TD pass from Eli.

Chicago continues to points up as Eli hits B. Celek wit another 11 yard TD pass.

In the 2nd half, Kicker M. Bryant tacks on 3 more to make the score 31-7 Bears. The Texans would settle for two field goals in the fours quarter and lose 31-13.

Aaron Rodgers went 16/26 for 211 yards and 1 interceptions. The Texans also used back up QB Colin Kaepernick who went 2/5 for 12 yards.

I will now simulate to the off season and update what happens in my next post.
