Re: Restoring the Purple Pride - A Minnesota Vikings dynasty (M13)

PETERSON'S BIG DAY GIVES VIKINGS WIN OVER CARDINALS

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- The Minnesota Vikings beat the Arizona Cardinals 44-27 in a game that saw Vikings' Running Back Adrian Peterson break the NFL single game rushing record as he ran for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns from 22 carries.

Peterson was unstoppable as the Cardinals struggled to find contain A.P. as Peterson's big game also took him over 1,000 yards rushing for the season.

Vikings' quarterback Christian Ponder was better this week than he was last week as Ponder never threw an interception, as he finished the game 13/24 for 143 yards and a touchdown to Percy Harvin on Harvin's only reception of the game.

The Vikings' defense was as strong as ever as they recorded 4 sacks in a game that saw Cardinals' starting quarterback Kevin Kolb knocked out of the game with injury before returning. Minnesota did however unfortunately lose rookie safety Harrison Smith due to broken ribs.

Re: Restoring the Purple Pride - A Minnesota Vikings dynasty (M13)

4 TDs FOR A.P. IN WIN

K. Williams Back For Upcoming Game - The Vikings are looking forward to having Kevin Williams back on that field as he's healthy now and ready to get back to work.

4 TDs For A. Peterson In Win - Adrian Peterson went big with 4 TD runs, leading the Vikings to a 44-27 victory over the Cardinals.

Chris Johnson Gets Dinged Up - Injuries are an opponent you can't beat, so Chris Johnson lost this week in a one-sided matchup. He'll be able to return in a couple weeks.

Target Acquired - There is nothing like watching Drew Brees shred a defense for four quarters. He did just that yet again en route to becoming the 7th most prolific TD passer ever.

Needing Rest - The Vikings know Harrison Smith wants to be on that field, but they told him to get back to 100 percent before returning, which means a couple weeks of rest.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefterEA: Kevin Williams has been at practice this week, and he's cleared to play in this week's game.

Mark Schlereth @MarkSchlerethEA: L. Smith keeps just pounding out those wins.

Robert Flores @RoFloEA: You have to tune in each week to see Drew Brees just to see what will happen next.

Trey Wingo @WingozEA: Josh Freeman did a great job throwing TDs this week. #fantasy

Ross Tucker @RossTuckerEA: You don't replace Chris Johnson, you just try to minimize the loss.

Mike Hill @MikeHillEA: Mike Zimmer said that his guys won't have to practice tomorrow, they earned the day off.

Skip Bayless @SkipBaylessEA: Running Backs may be less important now, but you can't tell me A. Peterson getting 1,000 yards is a bad thing.

Ross Tucker @RossTuckerEA: Run blocking > pass blocking. I'm sure O-Line enjoyed beating up that defense while A. Peterson ran all over them.
