Todman carries to victory
J.Todman rushes for career high 195 yards beating the St.Louis Rams 20-13.

St.Louis, MIS - Today was about who could run the ball better, id say the Vikings did. St.Louis did run the ball well today just wasn't enough. Turnovers was the key factor in this game. A ugly display of passing the ball.

Passing has been terribly the last 3 weeks, Ponder has thrown 7 interceptions and just 3 touchdowns. With out his best receiver you can tell he needs someone out their. His accuracy has dropped three percent lately.

Rushing the ball hasn't been much of a problem for the Vikings this season. Whether it's AP or Todman in the backfield they produce on the ground. Todman is leading the team with rushing,TD's and attempts, can we say most improve player this season?

Pass rushing has been great all season long. Racking up over 50 teams sacks and still two games to go. Robison is in the running for NFC DPOY, Jared Allen has came on strong since the midway of the season. Allen is also in the running for NFC DPOY.

Pass defense has been pretty much lights out every game, currently #1 in pass defense pass yards. Helps when you have two DE that get to the QB to apply pressure and sacks. Bowman has been our surprise player. He has been great for this team, doing everything that coach Thompson asks out of him.

Defensive rushing has been average, we have been killed a few time. We are inconsistent at times, looking great one week and really bad the next.

Scouting Report

WR Walker Stream - Vikings has a lot of interests in this kid, specially a former player of coach Thompson. Looking at film this kid can run any route with precision, knows how to use his speed. Can get off the line very well, not many CB can press this strong player.

WR Brandon Yarborough - Another prospect that Vikings are taking huge consideration in the draft. No one has been able to press this young receiver, but lacks route running ability. Doesn't know how to use his speed when running simple routes. Can catch any ball that is thrown in his area.

Ponder continues his poor play throwing 4 interceptions, Houston Texans win 31-28

Minneapolis, MIN - Vikings passing attack continues it's poor showing. Ponder throws 4 interceptions in a loss which they needed to win. Not having their best receiver in the lineup is killing Ponder.

Offensively looked horrible, Texans had pressure all day on Christian Ponder. Houston picked off Ponder four times in the game. Vikings passing offense was just short dink routes, Houston was not allowing anything long.

Defensively we played okay. Shaub was able to connect to wide receiver Posley catching 4 passes for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns. Posey out jumped SS H.Smith twice for a pair of touchdowns. Minnesota was able to stop Houston's running attack just 67 yards on 28 carries.

Green Bay closes Minnesota hopes for a playoffs chances.

Minneapolis, MIN - Despite the horrible play since the injuries to AP and Harvin, Vikings still had little hope making the playoffs. They needed to win this game to have any kind of chance. Now they will sit at their houses and watch the playoffs. Maybe next year for Minnesota!

Joe Webb stepped in for injured Ponder. Webb played pretty well throwing 167 yards and two touchdowns. He did throw a interception in the 2nd quarter trying to thread the needle to Steve Smith. Todman fumbled the ball twice this game, he had some problems holding on to the ball this year. Packers would cap off the game late in the fourth quarter with a rushing touchdown by Starks.
