Today Coach Robb Akey of the Idaho Vandals were fired after a very disappointing 2008 season 2–10 Idaho's Athletic director has stated he will announce a new head coach later as of now is holding interviews for possible candidates to fill the vacated position. As they search for someone to help guide this team to a bowl game and hopefully a National Championship. But who will be the man to do it?

Braking News In Idaho New Coach Found.........

Its been reported that former Offence Coordinator and Quarterback Coach for last year's Defending Champions Florida Gator's Dan Mullen as he has managed to develop top notch QB's in the past with the likes of several notable players, including quarterbacks Alex Smith (Utah), Josh Harris (Bowling Green), Chris Leak (Florida) and last year's Heisman Trophy-winner Tim Tebow (Florida). He is expected to bring a mixed of option-pro styles offence and defence will be a mixture of formation as well as he said he will show a lot of different looks this year as he knows in year 1 will be really difficult. Idaho maybe considered a bottom pit for coaching but Coach Mullen says he sees this as an opportunity to really challenge himself as a coach and try to see if he can bring this team into the national spotlight. Like he did for Tim Tebow and Florida's Offence.
