Cards Mount Comeback To Win 27-26

27-26

Feely kicks the game winning field goal

The Arizona Cardinals opened up the news season with excitement on Sunday as they erased a 12 point 4th quarter deficit to beat NFC West rivals Seattle Seattle 27-26.

The Cards were able to rack up 538 offensive yards on the Seahawks. QB Kevin Kolb made the start for the Cardinals but was pulled in the middle of the 2nd quarter after throwing 2 interceptions (one went for a pick 6). Backup John Skelton replaced Kolb and helped lead the comback. Skelton went 24-40 for 373 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

All-Pro wideout Larry Fitzgerald had a monster game against the Seahawks secondary. Fitzgerald hauled in 14 catches for 169 yards and 1 touchdown. Rookie receiver Michael Floyd also put up some big number in his debut. Floyd caught 10 catches for 188 yards and a touchdown. Beanie Wells led the rushing attack finishing with 65 yards on 24 carries.

On the defensive end the Cardinals held the Seahawks to just 245 offensive yards. Rookie QB Russell Wilson threw for 185 yards completing 21-39 passes with one touchdown. The Seahawks only rushed the ball 15 times with Lynch rushing it 9 times for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Pari Lenon led the Cardinals with 7 tackles and Darnell Dockett came up with the only sack for the defense.

Re: Welcome To The Desert: Arizona Cardinals Madden 13 CCM

NCAA News:

Late 2nd Rounder?
WR Jameel Sommerfield may feel overlooked right now as he's just one of the many receivers in a deep WR class.

Oh, Romeo.
FSU's Daniel Romeo has all the toold, but can he deliver in the clutch?

Top WR?
Missouri WR Tyrell Prendrgrast is expected to make a run at the Heisman trophy this season.

Money's On Banks.
Georgia RB Jeremiah Banks might be the best athlete in the nation this year, its a big reason every NFL scout wants to watch him play.
