A Georgia State Dynasty NCAA 14

Georgia State Dynasty

I have decided to go with Georgia State as the team to build up. A new team to NCAA football series this year, thought to myself this team should be challenging and fun. Thanks to who may follow this Dynasty.

Re: A Georgia State Dynasty NCAA 14

Georgia State first win
With a late touchdown in the 4th, GSU holds on to win 17-14.

First possessions for both teams could only manage to get one first down and then stall. Until around the 5 minute marker of the first GSU struck first. Quarterback K.Fenner dropped back looking for a open receiver, no one was open he tuck the ball and ran for a one yard touchdown. FCS SE didn't take long for them to score. They connected on a long pass which put them on the 1 yard line, they scored on the next play the drive lasted less than one minute. Score was tied at the end of the first quarter 7-7.

Second quarter GSU started with the ball and drove down the field for a 21 yard field goal to put them back up by three points. Each team was playing very good defense or maybe each offense was very rusty, either way it was a defensive game. GSU quarterback K.Fenner threw a interception late in the second quarter which put FCS SE in good field position. FCS SE would cash in the opportunity and score a on a 8 yard pass before half time. FCS SE leads 14-10 at half time.

Third quarter began with GSU with a three and out. Each team could not score in the third as each team defense was playing stout. Each team could not find a weakness. third quarter score 14-10 FCS SE.

4th quarter began with FCS SE with the ball, they had good drives moving the ball pretty well, they couldn't cash in on 3 field goal opportunities. GSU finally put together a great drive and would find the end zone. Backup runningback S.Hall ran for a one yard touchdown to put GSU back on top 17-14. GSU would hold on to the lead and go on to winning their first game in school history.

Weekly Update

Heisman Watch - Updated: Jan 1,
NAMEPOSSCHOOLSEASON STATS
J.ManzielQBTexas A&M18/35 207yds, 16Car 132yds, 3 Total TD
A.McCarronQBAlabama13/26 177, 2TD, 12Car 24 yds
B.MillerQBOhio St.24/36 401yds, 5TD, 15Car 50yds
T.BridgewaterQBUL16/34 146yds, 3TD, 9Car 34yds
M.MariotaQBOregon17/33 311yds, 5TD, 10Car 47yds

-Johnny Manziel Didn't have great numbers against Rice. He still the front runner for the Heisman this year. I would of thought he should of have had better number against Rice defense. He will need to play better if he wants to contend in the SEC.

-A.J McCarron had average numbers, not good enough to contend as a Heisman candidate. He played well enough to win against Virginia Tech, I don't see this guy winning it.

-Braxton Miller By far had the best game out of the candidates in week one. Throwing over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air. Yes he played against Buffalo's defense who cares, he did what he does on a regular and dominated. I'm surprised he did not move up at all, he is my favorite to win it this year over Johnny "Football" Manziel.

-Teddy Bridgewater Didn't look all that great, completing under 50 percent of his passes. He threw three touchdowns and 34 yards on the ground against Ohio. I would of had him move down a spot, but they have him staying put in the race.

-M.Mariota I thought was the second best as far as numbers go, he played a FCS team. He didn't look all that great just completing over 50 percent of his passes against a atrocious defense. I would have him third in the race behind Manziel.

My Heisman Board
1. B.Miller
2. J.Manziel
3. M.Mariota
4. A.McCarron
5. T.Bridgewater

I'm assuming you're using a real roster? Where did you get it?
