Nebraska State offers more math and science related majors than most schools in Nebraska, but lacks some of the athletic opportunities. The NEW C-USA, though, is the Nighthawks' ticket to bettering itself to a football loving state. Your average D-II team, Nebraska State brings a decent running corps along with a strong D-line. Could 2013 be their year? If they have anything, its consistency, and a big defensive line. Mediocrity is boring, and the Nighthawks are hoping to take a step in the right direction.
