MOBILE, AL --- During the bye week the Jaguars got their first recruit of the 2013 class.

Two star MLB David Bailey committed to USA on Saturday. Bailey is a very strong linebacker with a quick first step, also he is a surprisingly dangerous pass rusher. That being said it's still going to be a couple years before he makes an impact on Saturdays.

Re: The Coaching Career of Rocky Seto (NCAA 14)

KNOXVILLE, TN --- The 2-1 Jaguars head to Tennessee to play the 1-3 Volunteers. Tennessee is coming off three straight loses and this could be a chance for South Alabama to make a name for themselves.

In all honesty South Alabama is over matched at every position and this game could turn ugly really quick for Jags fans. The strength of this Tennessee team is the defense, lead by one of the best middle linebackers in the country A.J. Johnson and standout defensive tackle Daniel McCullers. The combination of those two great athletes is going to give South Alabama fits in the running game.

Tennessee wins if...

They play even remotely as well as they can. The Volunteers have speed all over the field and that is going to cause big problems for the Jags defense and offense, there are going to be many big plays to be had for Tennessee.

South Alabama wins if...

They get a couple miracles and still then it would be a nail bitter. South Alabama is going to have a hard time moving the ball through the air and ground, plus the defense can't match the speed the Vols have on offense.

On my dynasty VT just beat Bama. I didn't look at the stats. I will have to do that, and see if he played well.

Re: The Coaching Career of Rocky Seto (NCAA 14)

KNOXVILLE, TN --- South Alabama was hoping to get a huge upset win against a much superior opponent, but in the end the talent of the Tennessee team won out.

The tone of the game would be set the first time the Vols touched the ball. Dowles fielded a punt at his own 40, made a guy miss and was off too the races for a 68 yard touchdown.

Although the Jaguars were down 10-0 at the end of the first quarter their offense was surprisingly moving the ball really well and that resulted in a very manageable 13-3 deficit at halftime.

In the second half Tennessee's defense would step up and hold South Alabama scoreless for nearly the rest of the game. Also their offense finally got going behind the scrambling of J. Worley. Tennessee would go on to outscored the Jags 21-8 in the second half.

Even though South Alabama got blown out they showed that they could move down the field effectively against a much superior opponent, which bodes well as they get ready to start up Sun Belt play again.

D. Bowles shows what SEC speed is all about, out running USA's special teams like they were standing still.

There would be a touchdown drought till midway through the third quarter, when R. Neal scored on a read option from 1 yard out. Giving Tennessee a 20-3 lead.

Near the start of the 4th quarter the Vols added to their lead on a 6 yard catch by J. Carter from J. Worley, 27-3 Tennessee. Worley had a great game accounting for 292 yards and a touchdown, earning him player of the game.

W. Saxton scored South Alabama's only touchdown on this 8 yard pass from Metheny and a 2 point conversion would get Tennessee's lead to 27-11. Saxton was still a major part of the offense hauling in 9 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.

The Volunteers would cap off their great day on the ground with another 1 yard touchdown run from R. Neal, his second of the game.
