Game Notes
Rutgers comes in after a week off following their big victory at Louisville, and will need to keep it going against a Houston team that has struggled in their first season in the AAC. Rutgers has jumped from 19th to 9th in the nation, and all eyes are now on Gary Nova as he tries to lead Rutgers to a 7th straight victory. If he can play his game the Knights should be able to win this comfortably at home.

These new sliders are really awesome. I have to play perfectly or else, and so far I've done a good job. It's okay...I mean I guess Michigan is cool. We're going to have to take you down once we move to the Big10 though.

Post Game Press Conference
Pretty easy victory today coach. What do you attribute that to?
Preparation. We went out there and executed the gameplan we had better than they executed theirs, and that was it.
You have jumped from outside the top 25 to in the top 10 pretty rapidly. If things shake out right, you could be a championship contender. Has the thought crossed your mind at all?
No. Right now we are focusing on what is in front of us. We have 5 games left, and anything can happen. We have some tough opponents, and we'll need to focus if we're going to win.
Coach, Gary Nova and Brandon Coleman have been a great combination all season. To what do you attribute that to?
They work hard, and spend a lot of time throwing the ball and working on things and it shows. They have some great chemistry, and we're really lucky to see that. Of course they get a lot of space with teams trying to shut down Savon [Huggins] so that doesn't hurt either.
Coach, do you think you'll still have a job here next season?
I hope so. I love it here, and we're building something special. I'm excited to come to work every day, and the kids are awesome.
